@Alc - Could we possibly get an updated look at Deni? Since they did have the restart he added 15lbs, fixed his jumper a bit and was able to handle the ball more then before. Would be a cool comparison against this video

Deni reminds me a lot of Batum. Good at a lot of things not necessarily elite at any one thing. If the warriors get a top 2 pick I would consider trading down to 4-6 and draft Deni and get another asset

Yes! Very well said.. I think the question is how much can he help immediately? In our core 3s window... long term he is easily a top3 talent in this draft.

Yeah I like him better than Obi.. but Obi might help Steph and Klay more in their prime window

I think he's the clear pick behind Edwards. Good size means he could eventually even play the 4. He plays with everything we need and I can see him having an immediate jaylen brown type impact; not close to starter minutes yet but very effective in the minutes he will play. Really curious to see him develop as a playmaker. It's possible he could supplement a lot of what dray does for us

Perfect analysis ALC. He would be a perfect fit cuz as u said he has a big room for development. And very balanced player. U think he is a better match than obi?

I got to see who is ahead of us..I think there is a Luka effect as well, teams should be very familiar with him already. My gut says he wont last to 5. No one is going to have the ability to become a workout warrior and shoot up into the top 5 like we have seen so many times.

Edwards is probably only there if the Warriors get the 1st pick, what about Deni in the top 5? Obviously he's not getting the exposure Edwards and Ball's getting, but do you see him still being on the board if the Warriors got super unlucky and ended up with the 5th pick?

He would fit well with Dejounte getting up and down..I could also see Pop crushing his spirit early on tho too.

Spurs fan here. this is who I hope we go after. Him or Wiseman. But I have no idea how the draft will work right now
2020-04-05 01:36:22 +0000 UTC
having 1 commentator is actually a very common thing outside of US. I've watched a lot of TV in Asian countries and a lot of their sports events have one commentator just calling the action, only sometimes a guest appears but the guest changes all the time as well

Agree, and it seems that he hasn't really come to a realization of exactly what he needs/wants to do...he's young and has a position change and an evolving body maybe at the same time. I think he'll be a good scorer and outside shooter once he develops a bit more. As a warriors fan though there's a small corner of my mind that says Mike Dunlevy.

Hopefully Omri didn't leave a bad taste in their mouth..I know that didn't end well behind close doors. Nah they are too smart for that, I think the only question is how much can he help them in thin next 2 year window.

Yeah, his shooting is probably the only reason he's ranked so low on the draft boards but his Basketball IQ, playmaking, defense (scary good), rebounding, athleticism and his ability to get to the rim is nasty. The shooting mechanics are there. He just needs time to develop them. He's definitely got the discipline to only get better. I've been watching tons interviews & videos of him. Dude is locked in on the court and in the gym. He said that Kawhi was one of his favorite players and you can see it in his personality.

It seems like they just cut the sleeves off their old soccer jerseys. Its interesting too that a lot of the time they have one tv commentator and he just calls the action no banter

I'm rooting for this kid. I'm biased since I'm Israeli, but he does look like a potentially great fit. I was disappointed when the Casspi didn't work out.

I can see them taking Deni or Okoro. They both have the potential to fulfill those Livingston and Iggy rolls.

I watched this video 3 time because at first watch his lower body on his outside shot is very jerky, disjointed, almost disturbing to the eye. After watching a couple of more times I think he has solid release and shot mechanics and he shoots with generous enough arc which is always a sign of a good shooter.....maybe he just needs a more mature body or to catch up with his growth or his position change.

I just want to figure out how the Dubs can get Edwards and Avidja πππ
Tao Rodriguez-Seeger
2020-04-04 22:43:11 +0000 UTC
I've been waiting for this! He's the guy I've wanted the warriors to pick, he looks custom made for the system.
My only concern is how he'd deal with being a bench player for now. (And hearing his name being butchered π)
I think it'll be between Edwards and him, it just depends on what pick we get.
Epic analysis alc!
I like the dude because he seems to have a high motor and IQ. Like you said, he reeks Dubs basketball. High IQ players seem to be really important since they know how to change their game when needed in the NBA. Guys like dion waiters who are talent but not much IQ donβt change and donβt reach their full potential.
Itβs a difficult decision but I agree with you, take this dude or Edwards.

If we are going to get back to playing faster without KD it will be a really nice fit... but he is probably not as ready as some of these other guys. Long term he is a top 3 pick in this draft..

He definitely sounds like the best pick for the dubs. I can see him working as a good defender and a decent scorer. He would be able to make the best passes for the play. Maybe him and Poole could have some good chemistry

This is what I've been saying Alch! He'd fit perfectly on the Dubs. Funnily enough Omri Casspi and him play together on Maccabi, might be a little connection there for the Warriors. I'd love for him to play for us.
