Lee has surprised the hell out me. Ky has the higher ceiling and positional value. Got a find a way to keep Ky, real question should be do we try to dump Poole to keep Lee? Easier said than done tho...

I think, after this game, the name on the opposing jersey is cloudy our judgment of assessing things. The Kings are for real, they just started slow. This is what most people expected from them before their awful start. They should be blowing us out, we have no defensive identity. And it’s okay, there’s trades coming next month as team’s desperation start to build. The Rockets for instance are well aware they’re a few steps behind both LA teams and they have their draft picks to sell.

I think it mind be a bit distracting, knowing your production really is only linked to your value as trade asset. Even the way he started the season, with the guards in the West it was unlikely he’d find himself on All-Star team. Be interesting to know what he’s thinking about with this narrative, but at the very least it seems distracting.

I really wanted to see what you'd say about this game because, watching it, it just felt so ... blah. Actually made me feel about as bad as those early season blow out losses. As for the minutes of guys like Chriss and Spellman, I honestly think the team knows what they have in those players, and needs to know what they have in some of vets. As strange as that sounds. I believe our coaching staff (and management) is taking the long view on this season, so I don't see us making any bold changes anytime soon. But, yeah, all of us are hoping something opens up and Bowman comes back. Absolutely love guys with his hustle, competitive fire, and 3 ball.

At some point we gotta look at Kerr. He needs to quit changing starting lineups and rotations every game, it just makes it harder to build chemistry. Poole should not be taking more shots than Evans, Chriss, and Spellman. That's just ridiculous.

It seems like with KB you're almost guaranteed effort, tenacity and discipline every game. Watching the G league highlights, looked like a much more enjoyable game then the Big Squad vs kings at Chase. I'm excited to see these young guys like Bowman, EP, Chriss, Spelman, even D Lee the way he's been playing and who knows maybe Tuscano Anderson can play his way into a roster spot next year.

Im guilty of perhaps creating that narrative. You are right he is still trying to get his rhythm back. At the same time, he did burst out hella crazy and then come back looking like a different player. If it was a lower body injury id have more patience. But he should have stayed in shape.

You think they are playing WCS so much to hope he boosts his trade value? That keeps Spellman/Chriss under the radar and gives WCS a better chance of actually getting picked up by someone else.

I think Bowman had a real nice stat line on his G-League debut, can't find it at the moment, 27 pts, 10 asst(!) 4 3s, grabbed a few rebounds and steals as well. Scored efficiently also. I'm in the Bay Area, this might be the year I get myself down to the Santa Cruz to watch Ky, Smiley and Tuscano Anderson ball.

It’s great that we signed him, so we didn’t just lose KD. But I personally think his game would only work if we had Steph and Klay but even then we need a 3 and D player
