Break.
Added 2022-10-12 09:09:48 +0000 UTCI thought you should be the first to hear it, but I'm taking a break for the next week or two.
This means no Daily Ink Monster, no postcards, no Free Art Show, no nothing.
I will continue drawing and working on projects, but I just need a break from the constant grind of social media and such. I've been pushing myself too far for too long.
Doing daily art challenges has been very useful for me, and I've done the Daily Ink Monsters now for 3 years straight. But as the the exposure increased, the possibilities increased, and I kept putting more pressure unto myself, the things that worked well have turned sour. And lately I've been feeling bad every time I've sat down to draw something for the TikTok or YouTube.
I will likely try to be more active in our Discord, because I love the community we're building.
And in a week or two I'll be back perhaps doing the same, perhaps doing something different.
Hopefully I'll have resolved the issues with the mailing list/ how to win postcards by then as well.
Thank you so much for your support. You guys are life savers.
And do remember to follow the YouTube. That is likely going to be more of a focus when I get back.
