Thank you!

This months payout was the highest ever, and I'm overwhelmed by the love and support. 

So first I'll just upload this Polar Bear in Snowstorm as a thank you. Now this is a very old joke, made famous in Bill Watersons Calvin and Hobbes, but probably existing loooong before that. I learned it at a cartoonist after-party at some comic book festival. It's a great drunken trick. So that's why I don't want to share it for free use, nor sell it, but... Now a breakdown of the economic goals, and where we're at. And it's a very good place we're at! 

In fact, although we're not at our goal yet, the payout was around what I envisioned when I at the end of last year started taking pushing my Patreon on TikTok more seriously, and set the goal of "if 1% of you supported with 1$ a month" that you may have heard me repeat. 

Now of course, the number is a bit inflated, because most of the growth on Patreon last month was through yearly subscriptions, which are payed out each year. So if we spread those out over 12 months instead, we're still a bit away from my initial goal. 

And my goalpost has been moved. In order for this to work as I plan, I need to not only be able to have a decent monthly wage myself, but also pay for a manager, an assistant, some social media help, and an accountant. Some of that will be paid for by sales and such once I get a webshop up, but still.

Next week I'll be trying to agree on a contract with my future manager, and from there it's first finding an accountant, then assistant, then webshop. I'm in talks with some potential webshop and social media people, but I can't move ahead until I sign the contract with my manager.
