The Weekend v2 0.1.8 alpha 1
Added 2021-09-30 15:57:00 +0000 UTCHey lovely peoples! New release today, yay! This one has quite a bit in it, so I hope you guys enjoy. Storywise I put a temporary pause on Sophie so we could spend some time with Tobias, Amelia, and Hayden. I've added the first section to both Tobias's branch and Amelia/Hayden's. Both of them are entirely rewritten from v1, so I'm excited to hear what you guys think.
In addition we have 4 new illustrations, 3 of which were commissioned by our always amazing Art Critics. As always, if you want to see a particular passage illustrated you can bump up to the Art Critic tier then let me know what you'd like to see.
Since we have more illustrations I added a Gallery to the menu, so you can see the illustrations that you've visited. After you visit the appropriate passage in the game, the illustration will appear in the gallery. I'd rather not spoil where they all are, but if you really can't find them send me a PM and I can list them for you. Along with the new illustrations, I also redid a handful of avatars that were bugging me, because I can't leave well enough alone.
I've also started reworking the characters page. Eventually it will have all the characters along with any avatar images you've seen from them so far, but I didn't quite finish that in time for this release.
As always, send me any feedback in the usual places. And send me your illustration requests for the next release so I can get on those sooner rather than later.

For instance, deciding not to shave could change The Evil One's comment later on from "your legs look nice" to "your legs look like crap" without otherwise changing the passage. The same could be done with a refusal to wear a dress or ANY OTHER femininity- refuting choice. Honestly, I love the story but the lack of choices when it comes to BASIC things like how Casey is going to treat his/her body, things that could easily, with the tools you already have in place, confirm or deny acceptance of the change (s)he has undergone just anger me. You don't have to change the whole story with ANY of these possible choices, and the fact that you don't offer them DESPITE not having to change the story for them is extremely disappointing.
