2024-06-18 16:46:33 +0000 UTCGood rant, I liked that. One of the main reason, why I enjoy linux community so much, is that it is a sort of last haven of free thinkers. Linuxy people will usually tell you what they think and they are curious to learn about what you think. And while doing so, they are ready to joke about it, enjoy the exchange and appreciate the difference in opinion. And to me, that's what makes humans human. Everybody else, who lost that ability, I approach in the same way like what they willingly reduced themselves to, that is: animals. I like animals. I am always kind to them and I find them fascinating, oftentimes even cute. And I don't mind their company, I always enjoy being in nature and they are part of it. I just keep a bit of safe distance, because some of them actually bite if startled or feeling insecure. That's my little "trick" how to preserve my mental health intact in this world.
