Project Cappuccino - Change Log v1.16.0
Added 2019-04-01 13:16:46 +0000 UTCVanis here with a new change log for Project Cappuccino! Captain Calamari has allowed us some time away from dev work in order to release this month's build. Here's what's new this time around.
- Main Menu Has Received a Major Revamp!
- The entire main menu had a face lift and now features animated characters as well as a cleaner overall look.
- The character that shows up on the menu will vary according to who you have met in the story so far. Character unlock values are retained in global data so if you’ve met them in any save file, they’ll start showing up randomly in the Main Menu.
- Main Menu BGM has received some slight tweaking. Sound mix has been improved and some instruments have been changed.
- Lucretia’s Voice Lines Added to the Shop: All toys descriptions are now voice acted.
- Her VA is on call in the event that we do hit the next support goal of $2500 and Lucretia ends up being added to the rooms.
- Updated Currency Tray in the Shop: The shop still had the old style of UI tray and it has been replaced by the lightweight/cleaner one. Also removed the sound toggle that was in there as sound is only in the settings now.
- Added Standing Values to Mira’s Deal: Accepting or rejecting the deal at the end of Chapter 2 now grants or subtracts a large amount of standing with Mira.
- Story Segments Improved/Reworked:
- Forest Routes Expanded: Colette now mentions the Tome earlier in the story and informs Player & Sophie about where she’s been hiding it from Mira.
- Changed Charm Route in Chapter 2: The player is no longer able to avoid using the charm on Mira and Sophie is tasked with it instead. This was done to resolve an unnecessary plot thread that arises by having the player go into the office without actually using the charm and forcing Mira into hiding.
- Removed Some Pitfalls from Cerise’s Encounter in Chapter 3: Made it a bit simpler to see the CGs that can appear when talking to her in Berry Springs. There are still ways to fail the encounter but if you know what she’s into it’s easier to get through.
- Cerise’s Magic is Now More Concrete: Her magic abilities are now leaning heavily towards only being able to animate and manipulate objects. Current examples include her home furniture and her stockings.
- Beginning of Chapter 4 Improved: Day 13, the first day upon returning from Berry Springs has been changed. The segment with the astral projection has been removed and replaced with events that we feel are more cohesive and work better with Cerise’s magic and the tome. Day 15 is next in line for some tweaks now that some of the tome events happen earlier in the story. We’ll likely be tackling this during April so for the time being, Day 15 may not make sense in certain parts.
- 4 New CG’s Added to the Story:
- Cerise touching wall: Can’t give too many details on this one because it’s a chapter spoiler.
- Mira’s Teasing: Appears in route where player decides to remain in the cafe when Sophie and Colette go to Berry Springs.
- A Timid Box: Shows up in Sophie’s & Colette’s route on Day 13 after returning from Berry Springs
- Cerise and the Tome: Shows up in Sophie’s & Colette’s route on Day 13. First depiction of the tome.
- New Macchiato Patron Dialogues Added:
- Characters now have a chance to talk about Dungeons and Dwarves.
- Characters now have a chance to interact with a customer named Steven. With a PH.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed Toy Box Lock Bug: In some cases, they toy box would lock the tongue and egg vibrator. This was only happening in story mode when the flogger wasn’t unlocked.
- Fixed Toy Box Cycle Bug: There was a UI overlap issue with the clothing pins and the piercings in story mode. Issue occurred if the player unlocked the piercings and clothing pins but not the suction cups.
- Fixed Mira Encounter Bug: Toybox would show up when there was only supposed to be a CG on screen.
- Adjusted Global Data Save Call for Sound Settings: Originally, sound settings wouldn’t save in some scenes. The save call has been moved directly into the settings to resolve this issue and the game is now properly saving sound settings.
- Fixed Colette’s story Encounters: Now loads into the Undressing System instead of directly into the room during day 6.
- Camera Viewport Adjusted in Lobby: Camera view port has been expanded a bit in order to fit CG’s at their exact 1920x1080 size. Original view port size clipped the full view of the artwork during the story.
- Fixed Layering on Cerise’s Feet in Room 1 Undressing: Her feet were layered improperly above her legs and the line art was off because of it.
- General Typo/Grammar Corrections
