Near the end when you mentioned things could be interpreted in darker ways, there's actually alot of dark theories about Peter pan (and the actual book is much darker). There's a theory that the pirates are just lost boys who grew up, there's the theory (actually this might be a fact) that the lost boys were taken by Peter from homes that had their window open/babies that fell out of prams and that's why there are only lost BOYS since that wouldn't happen to a girl (for some reason). Also fairies can only feel 1 emotion at a time which is why tinkerbell was so extreme in her jealousy. Due to their size, canonically they can only feel one emotion (I do think it was very cool to have an 'attractive' woman be the antagonist bc she was for like 80% of the film trying to kill Wendy XD)

2025-06-05 21:18:57 +0000 UTCAgreed. Captain Hook was more of a victim in this film. I probably would've wanted to get revenge on Peter Pan too. Either way it's a great film, and the sequel is also up there.
