Some lore while story part 2 is being worked on

I've finally been able to recharge after the unavoidable incident and am working on the second part of the story I uploaded last month.

In the meantime, let me provide you guys with some fun little bits of lore for the world I write about.

1. The concept of harvesting electricity for energy DOES exist, it's just not commonly used, due to it being too unstable and unreliable. Magical leylines exist in such abundance around the world, mana is a much more reliable energy source, and is considered more safe due to the amount of research that has gone into it.

2. There's a reason why Dusk can't actually take off Phantasma's brand of diapers or training pants. The way the enchantment works, the diapers and training pants detect if the wearer is potty-trained, or at least enough along the way, to remove them. Otherwise, it'll lock and be unable to be removed by the wearer. The reason Dusk can't remove them himself is because since he was artificially created in a lab to start at a certain age, and never needed potty-training in the first place, that technically means he was never potty-trained, due to having never gone through the process. That's why the diapers and training pants lock onto him. It sees him as not potty-trained at all.

3. Phantasma's inability to fly is not solely due to her fear of heights. She simply can't do it. Doctors were unable to find out why. But she's ok with staying on the ground where her precious adopted children are.

4. Back during Dusk's mercenary days, most of his excess money was donated to charity. He did this for the reason that others, especially children, deserved a chance at innocence and peace. He didn't want others to end up like him, bitter and always in survival mode.

5. Glimmer can read at a grade-schooler level, despite only being three and a half years old. However, she still needs diapers most nights, due to the fact that she's still going through potty-training, and she's not quite there yet. Of course, she still thinks she's a big kid, and will baby-treat anyone she thinks is younger than her.
