Patreon upcoming story + important poll
Added 2022-10-21 21:14:52 +0000 UTCI mentioned in an earlier post that I'm going to create a new type of story that involves my patrons playing a part in how it turns out.
Explaining it again for those who did not see:
I will write a portion of a story, then post it with a poll. Readers will have 72 hours to vote on what happens next, and the poll will close after that. The option with the most votes will be the path the story takes, and I will take some time, usually about a week after the poll closes, to write the next part. This will continue for some time, until the story is finished. All story parts posted will be tagged with a STORY POLL (or something similar) in the title of the post. In event of a tie, I will break the tie and decide what happens next.
After the story is FULLY complete, it will be posted to fA with the choices and percentages shown, so the public can see where patrons voted to take the story.
HOWEVER: This will require you guys to engage with the poll! If there's nobody voting, or just 1-2 votes, it won't really feel like my patrons chose. So, I am asking, if I did something like this, would you be interested and vote in the polls for the story, or would you prefer my traditional stories, without viewer choice?
Note: This will not happen until I am fully recovered from my sickness. I have not been that badly sick in a really long time, and it was the first time in a long time I seriously considered going to the emergency room. I want to make sure I am 100% recovered before working again. By the way, thankfully, it was not covid.
