More than we bargained for 😅

Hey lovely peeps!
It is done! We are finally here! Only 3 days later than we had planned. 🥴
But Aruba did not let us finalize this passage just that easily.

Here it is mandatory to dock at the customs office, for clearance into the island. The office is located in a very difficult spot. Only 25 meters from the pontoon lies a shallow of only 1.5 meter and usually the winds are in a direction that will push vessels approaching the dock toward it.

What a hair-raising maneuver to say the least especially when the skies boast such striking looks!

What followed was an approach to a poorly marked, way-too-shallow-for-comfort anchorage.

But now, the ⚓ is securely set, the radio is playing Aventura 🎶 🧡🥰, life is good. Our feline crew enjoyed some much deserved treats and we are about to grab some much needed snooze time. 😴

We cannot wait to catch up on editing tomorrow and do creative work again after this week of mental and physical exercise. 🙃💪
The anchorage is calm as a lake and internet connection is super-fast so you shouldn't have to wait too long for the next episode.
