For the last Broken Truth update before the launch of the Gamefound Campaign, we get in as much final information as we can with new pledge types, some more information about shipping and some more previews as well.
The Eternal Dynasty stare down an angry pack of Orc Marauders in this MiniWargaming Battle Report. Apparently they have something the Orcs want and either have to defend it with all their might, or take something from the orcs to tide their fury.
The New Vampiric Undead Hero, Lady Navleva, features in this matchup between unnatural forces from Haunt's Wargaming. The Shadow Stalkers, while otherworldly, they are not undead, and so trespassing in the marches will not go unanswered.
At the top of post, you'll see some early previews of the what we are working on for September!
In 3.5, Iron Warriors are the embodiment of slow and steady. They even actually have both as rules making them move slower, but gain a defense bonus from anything too far away for them to charge. That defense bonus goes a long way on the Iron Warriors as they are part of the rare class of 5 man fantasy units with 3+ Quality and 3+ Defense, giving them lots of staying power. And once they get into combat, the pound special rule on their hammers means there will be no regeneration and extra wounds for bad save rolls.
Please remember that these are early WIP shots of the models and not the final versions of the models.

Feel the same about the hammers, but I'm just glad to see some properly armored dwarves starting to come in at last!

2025-09-21 19:22:36 +0000 UTCNot sure how I feel about the round hammers, but it looks like it would be very easy to replace the hammer heads with another styled head so that's actually still great.

2025-09-18 23:30:47 +0000 UTCI really really like the direction the dwarves have been going. They feel like they have character, an OPR flair, but they're still very much what I would think of when I think DWARF.
