In September the Dwarves' mines sound off as steam hisses and picks crack at stone. The Miners are generally the workers of the mines of course, but that means they have the skill to dig, and many a enemy of the dwarves have found the ground under them rumble only for some angry miners to draw then into the dirt. The Steam Suits are also used for heavy lifting in the mines, but toss a warrior inside and they become machines of war. Able to be outfitted with some heavy weapons, they are as devastating to armored units as they are rock. The inventive dwarves have even found ways to use the steam pressure generated by the suits to create ranges guns that can also be attached to the arm for ranged options.
The Orc Marauders are a war plagued species, but none revel in it more than the Orc Berserkers. Eschewing ranged weapons, these orcs like to get in close and meet their enemies face to face. Spears and Claws being their weapons of choice, once the melee begins it becomes very bloody. The rage they get themselves into when fighting also helps to protect them as it creates Psy-energy around them. Since they want to get into range fast and don't mind a bit of danger, some berserkers also ride equally angry beasts into battle, as a team of gore fueled maniacs.
Please remember that these are early WIP shots of the models and not the final versions of the models.

In September we get to look into the deep mines for the Dwarves at the Miners and Steam Suits. The Warden Lord in an energetic leader. Swift for a dwarf, he leads his unit ever forward with the same marching swiftness, getting them where they need to be sooner than the rest of the force. The Miners are not only the work force of the Dwarves, digging out and processing the coal that makes their technology function, but they're also sometimes called upon in battle to use their digging abilities to surprise enemies, erupting from the ground with pick in hand. The Steam Suits are steel exoskeleton armors used to provide extra strength to the already formidably muscled dwarves. Useful in mining duties they can also be purposed for battle, easily allowing a pilot to carry massive and impactful weapons. Champions can also Outfit themselves with Steam Suits to bolster their already impressive combat abilities. Using the steam pressure the suits naturally build up they can also be equipped with steam guns, rapidly firing off lots of rounds as they close in on enemies. The Giant Construct takes the technology of the Steam Suits one step further, creating an entire monstrosity out of steel and technology. Powered by something other than a pilot, this autonomous creation can be set upon an enemy flank to cause mayhem among the units.
Also in September the Orc Marauders get angry...well more angry. While no one in the Sirius Sector would say Orcs are clam or collected, but in comparison to the Orc Berserkers, they're downright saintly. Orc Berserkers unleash their natural aggression into a lust for combat. Setting aside those impersonal guns in favor of more close up weapons like swords, claws, spears, and even shields, which are still useful for bashing thing with. Even the Berserker leaders wear little to no armor, preferring instead to give their upper bodies the freedom of movement needed for a fight to the death, the psy-energy generated by their fury also helping them ward off hits that would normally fell others. Some Berserkers have also taken to riding beasts to get them into war faster. Best Riders and Beast Rider Leaders use these animals to charge themselves closer to their enemies, guaranteeing they get to engage in glorious combat before succumbing to any injuries. The Combat beast is a larger breed of Orc beast that can carry more orc and more firepower on it's back. So that's what the Orcs have given it, a platform for them to shoot from and guns of it's own!
The Legendary for September is the largest of the orc beasts, the Orc Beast Titan. This large ancestral mammoth like monster is set up to carry a war platform on it's back allowing a gunner a huge range of motion from a perfect vantage. It's side barracks also allowing it to transport a unit of orcs to clean up what ever it's stomped over before it continues on it's thrashing way.
For Age of Fantasy: Quest the Beastmen Paladin is the embodiment of the internal struggle between a kind and caring healer and a savage wild beast. This Ndoli has been set on the path of the righteous, helping with healing and support to his team, but that strength that comes from the beast within could be unleashed at any moment to defend his friends and smite those that get in his way.
In Grimdark Future: Star Quest the Eternal Dynasty Technomancer uses the technology of her Kusari home system to enhance herself and her unit as well as create deadly effects that have devastating consequences for the henchmen that find themselves in the way of the mission.
In September, we pan down from the canopy into a Xenos Jungle. The Small Jungle terrain helps to create a dense network of obstacles that are great for hiding behind or strafing around. Ruins and many different alien plants help to create an environment that will feel unknown to the fighters trudging through it.

October is the month we ask the Dwarves, what are they mining for? The answer of course is metal to build out their underground cities and create their impressive inventions. But also to arm themselves. The Rune Lord with Doomcart is what we get when engineering happens in the field. By taking one of their abundant mining carts and filling it with explosive coal it becomes a rolling machine of...curiosity at first, until in sets off and rains down fire upon all who are near it. The Army Standard tells the history of the Dwarves in iron runes and tapestry. That story a dire reminder to the enemy of those who's come against the Dwarves before and lost. The Iron Warriors are the battle hardened dwarves who's jobs are to be fighters. Armed well with rune scribed hammers and hefty shields, they are who stand in the way between the ordinary mountain folk and the horrors that seek to assault them. The Iron Marksmen are Iron Warriors trained in the use of fire rifles. While their weapons keep the enemy at range, their job is still very demanding on their stout bodies, their heavy arms and armor require lots of strength to keep a steady aim. The Bolt thrower is a pretty standard war machine for a variety of militaries around Tyria, but the Dwarves have of course added to theirs in ways that only make it even more deadly. While it launches using traditional tensed bow strings, the addition of steam pressure and heat from a furnace of coal means it doesn't only skewer through armor at a really high speed, but burns and melts what it gets caught inside of, for even more damage to large beasts and enemy war machines.
In October The Goblin Reclaimers set out into the stars to search for friends and treasures. The Goblin Champ is a hero to their collective, always the first out searching out for the best treasure on new worlds and creating the plans for reclamation. Their experience is what got them this far and that includes combat with all sorts of weird aliens and monster. The Goblin Weirdo is a bit of an outcast as it's name might suggest, not really fitting in with the other goblins because of the lighting that sometimes flies out from it's finger tips. But they still get to be in charge... probably because of the lightning thing. When Goblins explore it's always in packs, most of them carrying some form of scrounged gun, these Shooter Mobs make up the bulk of an encounter with goblins which actually tends to be a lot of bulk. Goblin Commandos have perfected skulking around and clambering over junk piles and debris. They tend to understand the technology they find a little better than other goblins which means they're almost always better armed too. The Goblin Bikers picked up the habit of going fast from some of the other species of the sector, always searching for parts to upgrade their bikes with, they're on a never ending quest to end up like the Biker Champ, having the best ride on which to travel through the wastes of destroyed planets.
Also in October is the last of the Human Empire Titans, the Earth Titan. This large Elemental Boar shakes the ground as it charges forth, rampaging as it stomps with hooves and gores with tusk. It's rider, an Empire Mage, lifts and throws stones using it's magic, or creates an eruption of beautiful, but deadly, crystal shards.
Here is the roadmap for the next few months:
