August News & Previews #3

Starting in September, we will be launching an all new Patreon Tier: Miniature Collector Plus. For $18 a month, this new Tier will include everything that you get in Tier 1: Game Supporter and Tier 2: Miniature Collector as well as a selection of Throwback Miniatures from the early days of One Page Rules.

Each month not only will you get the new 3D models that we release, as well as the new missions, stories, and access to the Advanced Rules and Army Forge Studio, but you'll also get the same 3D miniature sets that we released exactly 5 years before. In September 2025, you'll get our September 2020 3D minis added to your account, and so on.

You'll also receive any updates or expansions that these kits have gotten over the years, and they'll include full pre-supports. For example, instead of only 3 Alien Hives Shooter Grunts, you'll get 5, instead of a single weapon for the Mummified King, you'll get 5, and instead of only 3 Skeleton Warriors you'll get 13, including their full command group!

This is a great way to fill out your OPR collection with some miniatures you may have missed and help relive the history on One Page Rules together with the community.

Additional Loyalty Rewards for Teir 3: Miniature Collector Plus

In the early days of OPR minis, however, we weren't releasing the large number of models that we release today! When we were getting started, we would release a handful of units across two or more factions, though we quickly ramped things up.

So to help make the first Throwback Releases a closer value to our normal releases, the first 10 months of Throwback Releases will also get one of our old Loyalty Packs! So all together, in addition to the normal rewards, Tier 3: Miniature Collector Plus patrons can expect to get:

3D Print Rewards (2+2 Loyalty + 43 Models)

Sign-ups and upgrades to Tier 3: Miniature Collector Plus will go live on September 1st.

The Vampirc Undead Faction Book will be launching later this month, and we have some more Narrative Heros to show you. This time we're going to be taking a look at a Vampiric Pirate who's favorite prey is Havok Warriors! Learn how this Vampire became a landless pirate, and how he can be a boon to any unit in your Vampiric Undead army!

Also making his debut is Latmyir the Mad, a skeleton obsessed Necromancer so unhinged even the other undead are afraid of him!

We're thrilled to announce that Grimdark Future: Broken Truth will be launching on Gamefound on September 23rd!

Getting ready to launch One Page Rules' first plastic 2-player box set has been a long road, but the finish line is now in sight! In a little over one month, our Gamefound campaign will go live and the Broken Truth Master Box and a lot more will be available to order!

Get the full Update and Signup on Gamefound here!

Since last week MiniWargaming have posted, not one, but two battle reports! In this most recent one, Vampiric Undead Relic hunters go on a quest to find more relics, which naturally brings them face to face with the Saurians who protect their ancient sites from invaders.

Check out the Full Video Here on Youtube!

Previously the Vampiric Undead found themselves skull to skull against another force of Undead, the Mummified Undead. What trinkets would they find in the sands of the desert, home to many tombs, but also risen kings and queens.

Check out this battle report on YouTube, here!

At the top of post, you'll see some early previews of the what we are working on for September!

In September we get to look into the deep mines for the Dwarves at the Steam Suits. The Steam Suits are steel exoskeleton armors used to provide extra strength to the already formidably muscled dwarves. Useful in mining duties they can also be purposed for battle, easily allowing a pilot to carry massive and impactful weapons. Using the steam pressure the suits naturally build up, they can also be equipped with steam guns, rapidly firing off lots of rounds as they close in on enemies.

Please remember that these are early WIP shots of the models and not the final versions of the models.

That's it for now, happy wargaming!

We need to have a discussion about this with the team, but for right now it's looking like they wont be eligible, because the legacy models have been around for longer there's an unfair time advantage compared to the new models released that month.

You can upgrade your tier at any time during the month and you'll receive the extra rewards within 2 business days.

onepagerules

Since next month starts the legacy unit releases for tier 3, will the legacy models be allowed to be entered into the painting contest or is it just the newer models?

SubScrub

Quick question on the new tier being added. I see below that it's an easy upgrade from 2->3. Is there a certain date which we would need to have completed the swap in order to make that month's stuff (Sept i think in this case) Was also wondering if it was going to be a limited number tier, or open to all. Last few days I've seen lots of x of 200 left for certain tiers and such on other creators, so thought maybe might happen here too, although I'm guessing not(?)

ThatIrishKid617

Can’t say but for other creators I’ve always had the option to pay the difference when going up a tier but you have to manually do it, so I imagine it will work the same

The Architecture AI

How will it work if we are Tier 2 currently? Do we need to unsubscribe now in August and subscribe to Tier 3 in SEptembre? Or just wait until september and then do an "upgrade" and Pateron will charge the difference?

Arnoldo Garza

Agreed. The original suits looks like armigers used for mining an not 80's robots.

Wulfmundr

To be honest, I'm really sad to see the design change so much from the steam suit sketches, those really had some wonderful utilitarian mining vibes, and these just feel a bit.. Comical? 😥
