August Preview & Roadmap

Magical Coal drives the August Dwarves into a battle frenzy. The Dwarf Berserkers and their Leaders ditch the reliability of Dwarven Machine to instead use their coal dust to drive themselves into a frenzy of fury and chaos among the battle. Beast Riders give the Dwarves back the ability to keep up with taller races through the aid of beasts that make their home in mountain caves. The Burst Cannon is a piece of artillery that, like it's name sake, fires multiple barrels of shot in a single burst. It's range is shorter than others, but with this many shots at once it can cause severe damage.

The Orc Infiltrators sneak behind enemy lines in August, using silence like a weapon they can position themselves ahead to surgically take out units while they're distracted by the din of war around them. The Gun master is more than just an orc that likes their gun, they like all the guns, and bring lots of ammunition to share with their squad. The Hover Bikers are a hybrid between road bike and drone. Able to cross terrain inaccessible to a normal bike, they can disrupt normally well fortified positions. The Orc Marauders Walker is a mobile weapons platform, much like a tank, but with stomping feet and a selection of either melee or ranged weapons depending on what the pilot prefers.

Please remember that these are early WIP shots of the models and not the final versions of the models.

The anger of the Dwarves comes to bare in August. The Dwarf Berserkers channel their hatred from the time of their oppression, with a little help from a special coal dust, into great combat skill. The Berserker Lord might be a leader, but is happiest on the front lines where they can unleash the burning within them. The Berserker Lord on Beast shows just how little regard they have for their own safety as they usually select the strongest and most unruly beasts to join them in combat. The Berserkers themselves a collective of those who remember the old days of the occupation and have solidified themselves to never allow it to happen again. The Beast Riders are a bit more of a level headed dwarf, though still just crazy enough to get get on the backs of beasts to defend their mines. The Golem Titan is carved of the largest of stones and brought to life, it may have trouble fitting into smaller caves and passages, but that makes it the perfect roadblock for enemies. The Organ Gun is another dwarven engineer special that delivers a hail of leaden shot into throngs of enemies all in one booming moment.

August's Orc Marauders take a quieter approach to war this time with the Infiltrators. The Infiltrator leader and Infiltrators set aside the Orc penchant for war cries and loud noise to instead skulk about the battlefield unheard, and unseen, giving them a chance to attack those who are distracted by all the hooting and hollering from their louder tribesmen. The Gun Master is the orc other orcs go to when they want to know the best way to carry and use their arms. With a surplus of weapons to share, his unit tends to fire off more ammo than even the most trigger happy of orc, which is a heavy weight of fire to be staring down. While normal bikes roar loudly from their engines, the hover bikes instead chop though the air, whooshing like a tornado, to announce their arrival. A bit of a marvel of orc engineering, they can scale over any terrain that normal bikes would find impassable, making them impossible to outrun. The Orc Walker is a a bit more of a normal sight for what you'd expect from orc engineering. Heavy body, large armor plates, even bigger guns!

The Human Defense Force Epic Battle is a titanic scene that displays the results of conflict through the Sirius Sector. An HDF Tactical Walker makes an example of what human technology is capable of.

For Age of Fantasy: Quest the Wood Elves Monk is a calm and tranquil start to an unparalleled storm. Meditating from among the trees has given her a sense of clarity and purpose, while the wild nature of her upbringing has turned her fists and feet into weapons which she can use to protect her allies in their mission.

In Grimdark Future: Star Quest for August, The Saurian Starhost Commander uses his hard earned knowledge gained from years of fated battle to lead the team into dangerous missions. Bred for war his combat skills are unmatched, but more importantly he understands the flow of battle and makes sure his squad is in place to complete their tasks before extraction.

In August, the desert comes alive with the Desert Scatter Terrain and Desert Bases. When facing endless sand it's hard to remember that it's still home to plants and desert animals. Large Rocks placed there by waters long gone and ruins of old towns and villages also provide some landmarks for heat bathed adventurers and fighters.

In September we get to look into the deep mines for the Dwarves at the Miners and Steam Suits. Not all Dwarves carry grudges, but those that do make it their mission to carry out action upon them. The Grudge Bearers rile up their unit with news of things the enemy might have done, making them focused on that target until the grudge has been paid. The Miners are not only the work force of the Dwarves, digging out and processing the coal that makes their technology function, but they're also sometimes called upon in battle to use their digging abilities to surprise enemies, erupting from the ground with pick in hand. The Steam Suits are steel exoskeleton armors used to provide extra strength to the already formidably muscled dwarves. Useful in mining duties they can also be purposed for battle, easily allowing a pilot to carry massive and impactful weapons. Champions can also Outfit themselves with Steam Suits to bolster their already impressive combat abilities. Using the steam pressure the suits naturally build up they can also be equipped with steam guns, rapidly firing off lots of rounds as they close in on enemies. The Giant Construct takes the technology of the Steam Suits one step further, creating an entire monstrosity out of steel and technology. Powered by something other than a pilot, this autonomous creation can be set upon an enemy flank to cause mayhem among the units.

Also in September the Orc Marauders get angry...well more angry. While no one in the Sirius Sector would say Orcs are clam or collected, but in comparison to the Orc Berserkers, they're downright saintly. Orc Berserkers unleash their natural aggression into a lust for combat. Setting aside those impersonal guns in favor of more close up weapons like swords, claws, spears, and even shields, which are still useful for bashing thing with. Even the Berserker leaders wear little to no armor, preferring instead to give their upper bodies the freedom of movement needed for a fight to the death, the psy energy generated by their fury also helping them ward off hits that would normally fell others. Some Berserkers have also taken to riding beasts to get them into war faster. Best Riders and Beast Rider Leaders use these animals to charge themselves closer to their enemies, guaranteeing they get to engage in glorious combat before succumbing to any injuries. The Combat beast is a larger breed of Orc beast that can carry more orc and more firepower on it's back. So that's what the Orcs have given it, a platform for them to shoot from and guns of it's own!

The Legendary for September is the largest of the orc beasts, the Orc Beast Titan. This large ancestral mammoth like monster is set up to carry a war platform on it's back allowing a gunner a huge range of motion from a perfect vantage. It's side barracks also allowing it to transport a unit of orcs to clean up what ever it's stomped over before it continues on it's thrashing way.

We've also got another concept art preview of one of the Goblin Reclaimers releasing in October, a Goblin Commando. Please keep in mind that this is early concept art and the final model may change.

Here is the roadmap for the next few months:

That's it for now, happy wargaming!

I feel like I picked the perfect time to join. Goblins and dwarves were definitely both on the top of my list

for the diorama i would whish for one thing .. the tips from the flames of the flamethrower would be much more natural in my opinion if they would look upwardsinstead of spreting out in many directions. but i like the idea of that Diorama :)
