June News & Previews #1

So far there have been over 500 community events advertised and run since the beginning of the OPR Rangers Program! While we began posting the upcoming events as news posts here on the website, it became clear immediately that the community is way too active for that to remain effective, especially with events happening across the entire world.

So to make finding Community Events near you even easier, we've developed an all new Community Events page!

On the new Community Events Page, you will be able to sort and search all upcoming OPR Community Events happening around the world. There are filters available for country, event type, and search to find events in your city, state, or region! You can expand each event listed to find more details and follow the event link for any external info or event registration that is needed.

If you took a look at the Roadmap we posted last week, our June release is shaping up to be one of the largest model releases we've ever done. With an extra large helping of Orc Infantry models with both the Specialists and Veteran Specialists (with 60 pre-combined versions in each) as well as the debut of the new Dwarves, there are going to be over 230 pre-supported models released in June.

So in order to ensure that everything is supported well and prints successfully, we're pushing back the release date for our June models a few days to Monday, June 9th. All of June's Tier 2 Patrons will have these models added to their MyMiniFactory libraries at that time.

On the last week of every month, we’re running an OPR Hangout stream over on YouTube, where we showcase upcoming releases, sneak peeks at future content, and have a Q&A session for you to get involved. This is a relaxed stream, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at our creation process whilst chatting a bit and having some fun.

At the top of post, you'll see some early previews of the what we are working on for July!

July's Orc Marauders find news ways to bring the fight to their enemies. The Jump Pack Orcs are brave warriors who aren't afraid of a little height. Where the road ends, their job begins, using flight to get into tricky areas and take out enemy infestations.

Please remember that these are early WIP shots of the models and not the final versions of the models.
