Update on the Patreon (And All That Fun Jazz)

Hello all,

For the last few months I've been wondering what to do with this Patreon. I've really wanted to rework it and update it to accomadate for the new community. There are many things I want to cover so strap right in.

First, the Video Suggestions.

The truth is, the $50 donations have simply become so much of a hassle and simply do not reflect the way the channel is anymore.

This leads me to push off Patreon suggested ideas for projects which were already planned months before. This isn't fair to you, the Patreon contributors. So I am finally able to do your suggestion ideas, and I have a back catalog of Patreon suggested ideas. This will begin next week. 

This feature has become so overbearing I simply cannot keep it anymore, so I'm eventually going to shift it out for something that can be easier for everybody. I don't know what this will be so stay tuned.

Second, Patreon Hangouts.

I'm very busy. And many times Patreon Hangouts are simply too empty except for a few people. I'm happy you contribute to talk, but the discussions sometimes can be very dry.

Because of that, I'm aiming for the Hangouts to be almost like a podcast. I'm going to bring in some of my close friends (who are fans of history, military and geopolitics) and we'll all talk together over Google Hangout. I have to try to find times that work for all, but that should start next weekend as well.

Third, Apologies.

I get emails every day. And sometimes I often miss when somebody has sent me a contribution. I forget to thank them. If I have not given you thanks, I am sorry and expect a thanks in your message box within a day.

I want to rework this Patreon to include more fan service. Over the next few months I aim to include this more in my channel and make the Patreon community more lively for all.
