Good luck to all the participants, and may the best ones win. :D

We're also pleased to announce the release of official OPR Movement Trays! With an increased interest in Age of Fantasy: Regiments, we wanted to make it easier to play our rank and flank battle game with the miniatures you already have! With 96 different movement trays and base converters available, it should now be easy to field the units you need!

We've also included several movement trays to assist with our non-regimental battle games, helping to speed up play in Grimdark Future or Age of Fantasy. Quickly get your hordes across the table without having to move them one at a time!

The trays are available both for resin printing and FDM printing, fully supported.

The movement trays have already been added to the OPR Welcome Pack, available to our Tier 2 Patreon supporters at no additional cost!

In the latest MiniWarGaming battle report it's a battle of the large beasts as the Saurian Starhost take on the Alien Hives. With lots of special movement skills on both sides, it's high tensions as we find out who's going to get the drop on who!

Last Week we released update v3.4.1 to many of our games! This update is mostly small bug fixes and typos to v3.4.0 that we released last month. We appreciate all the testing and feedback from the community that helped us with this update. This update also includes some adjustments and clarifications to some of the new rules introduced in the expanded Advanced Rules, including allowing players to choose many options that used to be randomly determined.

Yearly Updates

Now that we've released these updates and fixes, it marks the beginning of our planned yearly updates for the game rules. We are quite satisfied with where the games are now and are not planning on doing any major updates to the rules anytime soon. These rules should stay stable until September 2025, so if you were waiting to print a copy of the rules, now is the time.

At the top of the post, you'll find concept art previews of some of our models releasing in December.

In December as the snow starts to fall, the trees will rise in aid of the Wood Elves. The Treeman Elders are weary warriors who've long been defending the Heartwood. The Elders use their knowledge of the forest to deftly bring the fight to the enemies of the woods, while the Elder Wraith uses the magic of the forest to awaken the canopy with spells. The Treemen channel their anger at trespassers into their combat, lashing out at the forests enemies with a flurry of attacks from their weapon like branches. The Treemen Brutes are larger and tougher versions of the Treemen with the strength to match, able to include rocks in their branches they can take care of heavy armor where other Treemen might have an issue. The Tree Giant is a mighty oak of destruction, it's roots able to whip enemies from afar, it's branch weapons massive and terrifying, and it's command of forest magic make it a tree there's no hiding behind... or from!

Also in December the Human Defense Force get some reinforcements. The Commander is up to date with all the tactical data from HQ, helping to position his troopers around the battle zone exactly where they need to be. The Veterans are experienced warriors who've survived the perils of active combat with wits and skill. Given access to the advanced weapon lockers they can outfit themselves to any and all battlefield roles. The OGRE Robots are a larger version of the GRUNTs. Their Increased size making for a stronger frame that can deploy heavier weapons at ranged but also be effective at up close maneuvers by carrying a large combat shield and dispersing crowds with heavy batons. The Attack Vehicle is a street level tank used for crowd control, it's arsenal of acid canons and flamers make it great for clearing out enemy encampments but it can also be upgraded to armor breeching weapons to take down fortifications or fortified enemy machines. The Support Vehicle is a modified Attack Vehicle retrofitted to provide artillery support. If it shoots hard and shoots far, this sturdy platform is how it gets into position to start it's bombardment and it's heavy armor makes removing it nigh impossible once entrenched.

December is also when the Dwarf Guilds break out one of their super efficient machines, the Mining Titan. Built to be dual purpose, this mech does it's name sake and makes quick work of drilling out ore. But that same drill and precision can also be used to hollow out enemy tanks and fortifications. When it comes to Mining and War, the Dwarf Guilds are always prepared for both.

That's it for now, happy wargaming!

Comments

for future reference, are these contests exclusively for OPR models?

Stuart Jones

The HDF have me feeling like a kid again. Just in time for Christmas!!!

Nenad Savanovic

OMG SO EXCITED FOR THE VETS AND OGRES!! I really hope the ogres will keep the posture they have in the concept art!

Jeremy Allan

Its already November where Im from. But thanks for the info, cant wait until the 4th. Love these sculpts.

Ron Mananquil

Releases are sent the 4th of each month. November hasnt even started.

Dredval

that would be awesome

Ron Mananquil

when will the november stl's be uploaded? I still cant find them in my collection

Ron Mananquil

Thank you. Found them.

Sean Riley

Yes, they included the new zip file in the latest Welcome Pack, it's at the bottom of the list.

Mauricio Gelves

Love all of this, great stuff! Any plans on making a Fantasy Naval Game askin to GrimDark's naval game? Would love to see age of sail.

Blair Fenning

I think it is cool and thematic, but that it will be odd if they all have the same type of skull.

Kyle Bentley

How do we download the trays? They are in the welcome pack. Will these be available through MMF?

Sean Riley

Keen for more HDF, I'm lovong the releases so far

Dean Thomas

Ahhhhhh the movement trays!!!! 🥰 How not to fall in love with OPR???

Mauricio Gelves

Awesome! Thanks for making those trays!

Krozber

Mining titan gonna be OP

Justin Marlowe

For me, it's the guns. Not a huge fan.

Jason M

These treemen look awesome! I wasn't hyped about the HDF but they sure are growing on me. Cool designs

Esnault Axel

Those Treemen designs are really cool! CaCan't wait to see them released!

Beans

Killer work! LOVE that you are putting in movement trays now. Regiments for life.

Harrison E Lorens

Its very cool and very thematic. Plants thrive off the nutrients of dead animals being absorbed into the soil, and I think having old bones as part of their bodies represents that well

Daniel Jay

I like the creepy leshy style for the tree-folk. Bones of dead animals among leaves and branches.

Dredval

Yoo those tanks designs are sexy! HDF designs are A+ !!

Mikah Kriyjkes

Super excited for these previews and this new stuff!

Victor Vasquez

I was about to make some simple movement trays so this is awesome!

Xalia

Shut up and take my money!

Akihisa Futjimoto

Loving what I'm seeing for the Wood Elves! And good luck to all the participants in the painting contest!

Daydam

I am still really new here, my 1st month is coming to an end, but I'm so very glad at this point that I have found One Page Rules. Right now, especially with certain recent reveals from "another company I will always like but can no longer love" OPR will seem to slot perfectly into the other options I have.

Tony Stephens

Very smart to add in the movement trays! Treemen and the Attack Vehicle look cool as well. :)

Zachary Petriw

Wow... this is shaping up to be my favorite release yet! I am hyped for every single thing in there!

Ken Smith

I'm really liking the look of the HDF Attack Vehicle, very sleek and dangerous looking. Are all the Treemen going to have deer skulls? It seems like kind of an odd choice.

Kyle Bentley

Hdf**

Xurben

This is happy news indeed! Thank you!

Russell Byerley

The movement trays are just in time for the hdr spam hahah
