The Melanin Magic coloring book was designed and directed by Vegalia and features original art from 14 incredible Black artists. The books variety of talent led to a collection of 35 unique fantasy designs, all meant to uplift and celebrate people of color.
There isn’t enough representation for people of color when it comes to magical/fantasy characters, so we created 35 enchanting pages that celebrate Black centric features. You'll find characters with gorgeous Black hairstyles like braids, locs, afros, curls, & more!
This book is great for kids, tweens, teens and adults! There are characters based from magical beings such as: mermaids, magical girls, fairies, hybrids, mages etc.
This book is a collaboration between the following Black artists:
