Early Access to The Isle of Dread

My newest RPG review is finished up (save for the Subtitles I still need to add). For this one I'm going over the Basic D&D classic The Isle of Dread, an adventure that was very influential for me. I'll be posting it to the general public Friday afternoon.
In other news, next month I'll be attending ChaosiumCon in Michigan, which will be my first convention since the pandemic began. I'll also be attending SoonerCon in Oklahoma this June, and then GenCon in August. So if any of you are heading to those, please swing by and say hello.
Anyway, that is it for now. I've now been up for about 22 hours because I was working on this video and lost track of time (it also took way longer than I expected).

2022-03-04 20:11:51 +0000 UTCThe real embarrassing thing was that it wasn't until the last couple years (like5) that I even discovered it wasn't AD&D. All the Basic D&D used a different cover font and layout. They looked distinctly different at a glance. Isle of Dread used the same cover layout, and the Advanced/Expert distinction never occurred to me. One day I was reading a blog or watching a video or something and someone mentioned that Isle of Dread was a Basic D&D adventure. I thought, "Oh, they must have made a Basic one, too." Then they showed the cover and mentioned the Expert Basic Rules and I had to go dig my copy out of the closet to convince myself that mine wasn't AD&D.
