Hey everyone, I've finished my latest review video. This one if for the classic AD&D module Dweller of the Forbidden City. As is often, and increasingly, the case, the video is way longer than I envisioned. I didn't even hit all the minor points I originally wanted to, but once you break the half-hour mark on a 40-year old module review you gotta start wrapping it up. I'll be posting it public Wednesday night or Thursday morning, depending on when I can get the subtitles done.
In other news, I've teamed up with veteran RPG writer Jon Hook and we've started the Modern Mythos Podcast. Since we figured it'd be kind of lame to release one episode and then wait a month to release the next, we released the first three all yesterday. Together we go over game writing as well as advice for running TTRPGs, mostly for Call of Cthulhu.
You can find the Podcast here: https://modernmythos.libsyn.com/?fbclid=IwAR1_wArr3cKQhXj5GNv52s2Q-_gdM9yyq-0O-_dugpOYp3CsevyZiir5mBU
It should be coming available on other platforms, but Jon and our editors, being veteran Podcasters, they know how to set all that up (feels really weird to have other people. I've gotten very used to being a 1-man operation).
However, being a YouTube guy myself, I've started setting up a separate YouTube channel where people can play our podcast episodes. I've only go the first one loaded so-far (I'm adding images of whatever we're discussing to give some visual stimulation and assistance. Otherwise it's just a static image, which is kind of boring to look at). Now that my own review video is done, I can get back to editing and loading the other 2 podcast episodes up onto YouTube.
You can find the new channel here if you want to check it out: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmk5Y_OheFJL7-Xgvx-REJA
Anyway, that is it. Been super busy the past few weeks, as you can see. Hopefully once we get everything situated and on course with the podcast, I can take a breather and get back to more of my own videos.
Thanks for all you support.
