Early look at my next War Story video

Happy Thursday, you awesome Patrons.

I've been trapped in the house due to the crazy Texas weather, but thankfully I've maintained power. Internet was down for most of the last couple days, but I finally managed to load tomorrow's video. But you get to see it today (I was hoping much earlier today, but that whole no or slow internet thing had other ideas).

Anyway, enjoy the story of the worst Fumble Chain I've ever seen, as well as my first TPK.

Thank you for your support, and for those of you stuck in the ice with power outages and having to boil drinking water, stay safe.

~Seth

Once we're done with out Traveller campaign (just a few months away), we'll probably do a pallet cleanse with a game or two of Call of Cthulhu and then finally dive into Cyberpunk Red. So... eventually.

Great! Stay warm! BTW: any plans for more Cyberpunk content? I am starting running CPRed and would love any inspirations! ;)

My one tpk (well, almost tpk. All but one) was due to players killing each other rather than me doing it.

Well, I was intrigued by it.

Yeah, this was the same player who had a disturbing fondness for using flaming oil in D&D at every possible opportunity. In one adventure when the party were trying to heist a huge sapphire, he made a distraction for the guards by setting fire to several important public buildings.

It was mostly one player for us. Same dude that dropped the two grenades in this video once also flashbanged himself twice in the same session. He never hesitated to throw a grenade and not once did it ever go according to plan. Grenade launchers worked, and did any other thrown weapon, but hand grenades.... it never ended well.

Our first ever game of Shadowrun nearly ended in a tpk due to grenades. We were in a bar and went outside to help some poor guy being beaten up by a gang. We were doing ok, but one of us had a grenade launcher and fired too close to the fight. The grenade scattered back into the middle of us and blew up. Almost all of us were unconscious or badly hurt, except the launcher guy who was wearing ceramite armour, and we totally killed the guy we were trying to save.

I dunno. It's a cherished story for us that were there, but not that exciting to anyone that wasn't (except for the bonsai tree accident, maybe). It was just an improvised scene that went on way longer than any of us could have expected.

“Which I thought would be enough...”. Famous last words 😂😂

I want to see one on "the Mall" story you mentioned on that collab video.
