I've mentioned this vaguely on tumblr, but I might as well post it here:

I've been asked before if there's a point at which you guys will be given a "lock in" moment for the ROs, where you choose who you want to romance. I always intended it to be a thing, but I've waffled back and forth on the 'when'. Since the romances in this series are definitely going to be more of the slow-burn variety, I've considered holding off on the lock in moment until book 2. But as I've been considering things, making you guys make a definitive choice now might make things easier as far as variables go come book 2.

Then as I was writing, I kind of happened on a natural point at which a lock in moment made sense. So we have one for R as of chapter 8. Right now, the plan is to give you the Z option in chapter 8 and the Kestrel option come chapter 9, but I'm still sorting those things out.
