Author Check-in 10/16 - Halloween Side Story

Anyway, reposting this from Tumblr with a few added notes:
So we're doing the side story. The vote was pretty overwhelmingly yes.
The short will have one route for each of the love interests. We have (have) roughly 3 weeks until Halloween, so I'm going to try to finish one each week. I'll try to keep you posted on progress.
Right now, R's route is almost complete and it's at +4000 words. I can't guarantee the other routes will be similar in length, but we'll see.
For a short summary of how the routes will go: this is meant to take place some time in the future, but before any solid, romantic relationships have been formed---basically during the crushing/flirting stage. It's not going to be totally canon compliant, as it will probably feature a "first kiss" for each couple that's not going to line up with how the first kiss happens in the main story.
There are also going to be some minor spoilers about the ROs backgrounds and powers. (I don't know if spoiler is the right word. None of this is meant to be a huge secret or anything, it just hasn't come up in the main story.)
As I mentioned in my previous update, I won't be posting any weekly shorts during October while working on this project. In compensation, however, I am thinking about making this side adventure free for all of my paying members here. It seems only fair since this is taking the place of your regular content.
Anyway, that's about it right now.
