Hate to say it but the woman's point about the The Last of Us theme park ride (or whatever it was) being based on the videogame and not the TV series adaptation was valid. The videogame and the TV series are quite different, not to mention the videogame predates the TV series by almost 10 years. The guy she was talking to might have mistakenly assumed this was a recent event she attended since the TV series is only about a year old. It's the same as telling someone you went to a Star Wars event and just specifying that it was themed after the original trilogy and not the recent Disney nonsense. Or that something was based on The Lord of the Rings but not the Peter Jackson movie versions. She was just specifying that it didn't have any of the new content unique to the HBO TV series or the likenesses of the TV series actors etc. I don't get why Karl and everyone thought that was such an egregiously stupid thing to say. 😕
