Surprisingly Karl isn't that wrong about the electric shocks, it's more of an small electric impulse and called Deep Brain Stimulation and is used with Parkinson's and other motor diseases and can help with Tourrette's symptoms but is mostly used if it actually significantly affects your quality of life. I'm no medical doctor so ask Doctor Steve. The thing I can say is that pricing for CO2 sensors starts at around 100$ and goes towards a couple K$, the quality of the sensor is most likely not accurate enough for what she is trying to measure. It feels like Nathan For You trying to sell smoke alarms as musical instruments for tax reasons.

And she has been in and out of the hospital for the past year since COVID with extreme exhaustion and other maladies. Considering what she was doing prior to covid I don't think she just suddenly decided to hang out in bed for no reason.
