Basically Apple charges extra so they can have a cut. It's really greedy of them, and I just thought I'd inform anyone who wants to upgrade or subscribe later that on desktop / outside of their app store you don't get that charge. I got the email about it today, and thought I'd inform you guys just incase. If you're already a member who subbed on apple store, I don't think this affects you.
