You’re Invited! 500 Patron Party and Liveplay: The Siege of Nassau

I crossed the 500 patron threshold (though its currently dropped below due to month end billing), and I want to celebrate with you all!

What: Online Party & Pirate RPG Game Celebrating 500 Limithron Patrons

Where: Zoom (Patrons and Players), Foundry VTT, and Twitch

When: Sunday, August 8th. 2pm-5pm East Coast / 11am-2pm West Coast / 7pm-10pm London

Who: Everyone is invited to play, or to watch on Twitch! PLEASE RSVP HERE IF YOU WANT TO PLAY!

Why: You guys rock, it’s a party, plus we are giving away prizes, and killing pirates is fun.

Prizes

• 1 14pc set of Kraken Catalina Dice https://www.krakendice.com/catalina-12pc-dice-set-with-kraken-logo-for-ttrpgs/
• 1 copy of The Dark Caribbean: Mörk Borg after it is printed later this year
• 1 Map of your choice printing on high end fabric from Spoonflower 
• You get to choose (from the last poll & a short list I have prepared) what map I will make next (as in next week!).
• Random prizes to Twitch viewers too (not just those playing)
• More Prizes from Swordfish Islands and other TBA!
• Grand Prize: Limithron will draw and paint top down tokens for your entire party or a group of NPCs (up to 6). Subject to approval. Everyone will get these, but YOU get to design them.

LIVE RPG EVENT

The main event! Everyone is invited to participate in the game.

• Hosted on Zoom. Video not required but highly encouraged.
• Streaming on Twitch.
• System: The Dark Caribbean Mörk Borg Edition.
• Playing on Foundry VTT, though players will use their own character sheets and can roll dice in person if they want.
• You can preroll/make characters! Patrons can grab the rules and character creation PDF here.
• You can also use the brand new random character generator: https:/limithron.com/randompirate
• All players will be in the zoom meeting, but only 5 or 6 will be “alive” at a time. We ask that you mute when you are dead. When someone dies, we’ll rotate out players. Expect LOTS of deaths!
• There will be prizes for things like most deaths, most kills, longest alive, and Twitch viewers voted best Roleplaying/MVP. There will also be random prizes for Twitch viewers!

The Siege of Nassau

This one-shot scenario, specifically designed for this event, pits a rag tag group of pirates lead by the infamous Blackbeard against the Evil British Empire in a bid to claim Nassau as the new captain of the Pirate Republic!

This will serve as the inaugural event for the DARK CARIBBEAN: West Marches Campaign. This West Marches style campaign will have lots of players and several DMs, and games can happen anytime a group of players get organized and find an available Dungeon Master. Sessions will take place on the Limithron Foundry VTT server where players and DMs can make notes about the world and events as they discover them. Combat will be lethal, treasure will be bountiful, and rum will be flowing!

After this event we will be running regular games on the Discord Server so come roll some dice!
