Lol this is the right place to be on that soap box!! Because I totally agree. He did not deserve to feel that way.. his performance was deep and emotional. I desperately wish they would stop listening to the people who are just going to criticize them for the sake of criticism and to not take that to heart. Because they are all a joy to watch perform. Haha feel free to share feelings any time, I’m right there with you! And I’m also excited for the Mayfly episodes!! A good day to be a StayTiny lol 😆

And I totally agree.. skz tends to be very nuanced with their meaning and not everyone gets that.. I definitely think they deserved better.. the fact that I.N things badly of that performance just breaks my heart… I adore that kid. I hope he can have more confidence in his skills.

2024-08-08 15:04:08 +0000 UTCOK, I'm getting on my soapbox - IN's performance when I first saw Kingdom made me cry because I honestly thought he was just giving emotions. I was so angry when they got judged. I get that it wasn't the intent afterward, but it fit it so well during the performance and made it more intense. These guys get so much hate and take it to heart. I agree with you on wishing to hug him. Reading above from Gail that he was disappointed in Lolla. WHAT???? That was an epic concert from them. Being perfect isn't the goal, having fun and delivering a performance that makes people happy is. It hurts me to see these guys carry that trauma that has been given them in the past. There are so many western artists who have to use autotune to cover their vocals and sound horrendous live. But their fans still go to concerts to hear them. I haven't followed western artists for decades because of it. Stray Kids can't be beat in my opinion on talent. Okay, I'm biased. I love them and hate that they look down on themselves. I'm glad they are humble but they just keep improving and improving, when most would just be content on how far they have come. Ok, I'll step down now. LOL I am stoked to see Game Day. It was great to see them all interact together. I am partial to Mayfly though. hehe

2024-08-08 06:50:11 +0000 UTCThese are some of the most amazing performances, I love how each group pushed their own boundaries to create such different reimagined pieces. As I said previously SKZ suffers a little because (obviously) many people aren’t used to engaging their brains and don’t catch the meaning or underlying messages. That’s too bad because I too thought they should have placed higher. To this day watching I.N. blame himself thinking he ruined the entire performance (only to have it confirmed in his mind as the scores were announced) was absolutely heartbreaking. He has worked so long and so hard to overcome his insecurities, it still pains me to read his Bubble after Lollapalooza saying he was not happy with his performance and apologizing to Stay. The day he shows true happiness without self criticism after a concert I will be thrilled! 🥰🥰
