I started recording this video not knowing that I had a brand new ant infestation in my kitchen. Darla keeps digging stuff up and bringing it into the house, and her latest gift attracted a whole bunch of ants. I was too locked in to break down and take care of the ants, so I'm actually being bitten on the tootsies in this video.
While editing this video, I accidentally deleted the project half a day in. Between the ant bites and wasted time, my new focus on productivity that I talked about in my latest $6 bonus video suffered a serious postponement.
Usually I post these early access videos with the auto-generated YouTube thumbnail, but it did me dirty so you have this masterpiece for now.

You don't NEED very much water (just enough to cover the pasta) BUT!!! the less water you use, the starchier that pasta water will be. This can be helpful for building a nick thick creamy sauce, but you'll have to be mindful of how salty and starchy it'll be.

Silly question, but: Do you respect the amount of water the pasta packaging tells you to boil the water in? I always found that ammount quite excessive, but looking online, there seem to (unsurprisingly) be a mariad of opinions about this.
