Hello friends!
It’s early morning here, and the sun is shining. Perfect light for painting!
Lately, I’ve been working on simpler, nature-themed pieces. Not long ago, I talked about my fear of repeating myself and always painting the same things. But honestly, I love when artists have a clear style and focus—something so distinctive that you can lose yourself in it. So for now, I’m leaning into nature and greenery. At least until something else catches my interest.
In trying to constantly switch things up, I’ve realized my gallery can sometimes feel a bit disjointed. Every time I upload new work to my website, I end up rearranging things to create a cohesive colour story. I’ve also noticed that most of my paintings tend to be zoomed out, often showing wide landscapes with solitary figures (or the occasional cat). To switch things up, I recently painted two pieces without any people at all, one of which is a close-up.
I hope you like them.
