Hey friends,
I hope your day’s going well! It’s been incredibly foggy and humid here lately—definitely "stay-inside" weather. But that’s given me the perfect excuse to dive into some new projects. Right now, I'm working on a guide to perspective drawing, focusing on the 10 most common mistakes I see artists make and, more importantly, how to correct them. I've had this idea in mind for a while, and I’m finally bringing it to life as an eBook/PDF!
Perspective drawing can be a dry topic, but I've been pleasantly surprised by how much I'm enjoying this process. I’ve finished the writing, and am now creating example illustrations to demonstrate each of these mistakes. It’s actually fun to deliberately make "bad" drawings for a change. If you're up for it, here's a little test with two examples I’ve already completed. Can you spot what’s off with the perspective in these?

I’m especially looking forward to the layout stage—I recently bought some beautifully designed books in Japan that I absolutely adore, and I can’t wait to draw inspiration from them for this project. My goal is to have everything completed by the end of November.
Talk to you soon!
