How are you today? It's a bank holiday here in Germany, so I'm enjoying a construction noise-free morning.
I'm excited to show you a new painting I just finished! It's for the upcoming Animanga show at Haven Gallery, so it's still top secret. But I wanted to share it with you nonetheless!
The show was the perfect fit for me, with the decription being "An artistic exploration of the subculture of anime and manga as artists explore thematic motifs, characters and backdrops through their own styles and interpretations. Please do not make fan art but instead, use the traditional aesthetics and themes to support your own artistic direction." So I took this chance to paint some cherry blossoms I saw in Japan.
