About the Platform, people were just way too flakey for me to continue to try so after various attempts at opening up things in different ways I've put my energies where they are surest to bear fruit, which is creating courses. That said, I'm still collaborative and when I see people are really working will happily get involved. I uploaded a few months ago a session about Arabic and Hebrew learning that you may find interesting! It's on the LT YouTube channel! :)

2026-03-03 19:54:06 +0000 UTCWhat helps me learning is interacting with the language. So either I can speak with real people, solve real situations (buy something in the market), or translate a text. I find reading alone pretty boring, since my life is too fuil currently to do "reading for learning" on its own. I usually default to let AI generate me sentences I translate then and double check online to get rid of the AI introduced errors. Also having conversations with the AI is rather nice. What is the state with the collaboration platform to create and improve LT courses? Because this would be a great way to learn, I think. Creating own course material (even if it doesn't end up in a course) would be really helpful for me and possibly for others. And even if it doesn't lead to more course content, I would just like to have a place where people ponder specifically about applying the thinking method.

2026-02-22 12:28:47 +0000 UTCWe're talking about language learning here. Forget about the packs. The books? I already have enough books to make a fluent french speaker of everyone on the planet. It's the practice. Your lessons help a lot. Most people in the western world have too much 'stuff' already. Focus on the well thought out classes you are already giving us. As a 70 year old learning french (I avoid the use of 'trying to learn') I find myself running the 40 lessons over and over and discovering stuff I missed in previous plays. Naturally I would love more french lessons from you. Thanks

First of all, thanks for all your support! :) The perks are on your tier description, but basically you can claim a few books (one title max per language though) and a large pack too, as you've been supporting a long time and haven't claimed... only that if you are in the US, we have the aforementioned complications with the packs right now! Let me know what you would like to claim! :)

2026-02-17 06:19:22 +0000 UTCI like the book idea too, had never heard of interlinear reading before this! Also, if possible, would love if the packs continued to include some bookmarks. I hand out Language Transfer bookmarks to all my reading friends and still think it’s a great way to get the word out!
