finally, some new cc & a collab in the making!

once again, it's been a while. but here we are with some new cc!

these sofas are part of a collaboration with austin fendler (link to his tiktok), a fellow sims creator, whose idea and inspiration for the chesterfield started this project.
while we weren’t able to complete the full set we had envisioned together yet, for now here is the first part of it.

trying to get back into creating hasn't been easy for me, so i decided to let go of several items i haven't been able to finish yet and only release this tiny set of sofas for now, rather than holding everything back indefinitely.... i guess this is a better option!

because of difficulties i was facing that i told you about in the past, and even though i had started a bunch of items, i never got to finish all those items we have planned. but recently i pushed through and the sofas and armchair are done!

this is kind of a beta version of the collection. so while we work toward expanding it in the future this is the first result of the set we are working on.

i couldn't let go of trying to make a realistic enough chesterfield with the classic tufting and everything (i ditched the studs though), making it maxis match while still looking somewhat realistic. that's also why these sofas are slightly bigger overall. your sims can sit in it normally, but since a real life chesterfield tends to be quite bulky and thick, i really wanted to have that translate with my versions of it as well. so these take up a bit more space on the sides and the back than the average couches in game.
anyway, this is the final result after a lot of trial and error and so many scrapped versions of it.
