Hanabi"s Baby Title Image

The midday sun shone brightly on the Village Hidden in the Leaves as Hanabi stood in front of the Inuzuka residence. A series of loud barks, growls and whimpers greets her seconds after she knocks on the front door. Growing tired of waiting, she decides to simply scale the side of the building. Sitting atop the roof, she scouted the backyard for the man she sought and immediately spotted Kiba in the grass tending to his dogs. Hanabi couldn't help but stare as Kiba stood up from drying off one of his dogs. A mixture of sweat and bath water cascading down his toned chest made the muscles glisten in the sun as he proceeded to wipe himself off with a towel. All around him his freshly washed pups scampered around the yard while his partner and best friend chased after them. This was the right man for her sister, Hanabi knew as much from what her sister had told her over the years. She knew that her sister loved Naruto, but ever since he became Hokage, she felt neglected and ignored which caused her to start fawning over Kiba to her in secret. She would help her sister get this stallion of a man, ensuring that he became her new husband while in turn Kiba would soon help her get Naruto. "Hey! Kiba!" Hanabi called out from the rooftop. The tattooed ninja looked up at the Kimono clad young woman who was perched on his roof. Her fire red and yellow kimono looked absolutely stunning, framing her petite body and showing off her curves in all the right places. Suddenly, he recognized that the woman was none other than Hanabi Hyuga, Hinata's younger sister. "I wasn't expecting a visit from a member of the Hyuga clan.” Kiba responded. “What brings you here?" "I'm not here on behalf of my clan, but I imagine that the elders wouldn't disagree with what I have in mind." Hanabi smiled down at the burly ninja from her perch atop the rooftop. "And what do you have in mind?" Kiba wondered, trying to see if the young woman had any ulterior motives. "Let's talk inside." Hanabi replied before she dropped down onto the ground. "Alright then." Kiba would have preferred getting a shower in before speaking with someone as beautiful as Hanabi, but she seemed to have something urgent to discuss with him. "Akamaru, make sure to dry off the pups properly." Akamaru stopped in his tracks and turned his head towards his partner before nodding while numerous puppies ran around his feet. "I'll be speaking with Hanabi so you guys are to keep playing. If I leave, put them to bed." Kiba explained to the large dog who barked in agreement. "You have such a good bond with your animals." Hanabi grinned, admiring how they respected his every word. "Thank you. Akamaru is my best friend, but also my tool in combat.” Kiba answered before adding, “Such a bond has taken decades to forge." "I see." Hanabi nodded. "Let's go inside and I'll see what I can do for you." Kiba replied while sliding open the door to his estate, letting Hanabi walk past him into the house. "To put it simply, my nee-san has a crush on you." Hanabi volunteered this information without hesitation as soon as Kiba closed the screen to his home. "But she's married to Naruto; the Hokage!" Kiba couldn't hide the sense of shock in his voice. "I am well aware, but my brother in law neglects her emotional state.” Hanabi said, her tone bitter. “Hinata isn't the fragile child she used to be, but a wife deserves attention and love. Naruto hasn't been honoring his duties as a husband to her." "So, she is interested in me?" Kiba couldn't help but ask. "Yes, she is. If you don't believe me, you can go over to her house and ask her personally," Hanabi stated before adding, "but that’s only half of why I'm here. I'd like to offer you a deal." "What deal is that?" Kiba raised an eyebrow. "Challenge Naruto, defeat him in combat and take his place as Hokage." Hanabi declared. "That's not a deal,” Kiba replied with a chuckle, “that's a pipe dream." Hanabi stood silently, her eyes staring directly into Kiba's. “You're actually serious about this? I almost feel like you're playing a prank on me." "Hinata's his wife. She knows his weakness and will tell you if you go to her and proclaim your love to her" Hanabi said, ignoring Kiba's laugh. "Once you have this secret knowledge. You can defeat Naruto and demote him until he is placed in my custody." "Huh, now I see what you're after now. If I defeat Naruto, Hinata will leave him and you'll swoop in and take him all for yourself?" Kiba grinned. "Yes and no." Hanabi blushed, looking down at her sandals for a moment. "It's complicated. I can't exactly explain to you what I want, but I want him to be placed under my care; my guardianship, if you will." Kiba had a smirk on his face as he grabbed his fishnet shirt and slipped it on over his rippling muscles. "I'm going to meet your sister and see what's going on. If this is a joke, I'll definitely be annoyed, but if she tells me that she loves me-” Kiba paused, “I suppose I'll have no choice but to use whatever weakness Naruto has against him to make your wish come true." Kiba explained while putting on his fur-lined hoodie. "Babysitter." Hanabi declared in a flat, nonsensical tone. "Excuse me?" Kiba paused after he slipped on his black sandals. “What did you just say?” "I want you to appoint me his guardian, but please, can you call me his "babysitter?" Hanabi asked, her face growing even redder than before. Kiba couldn't stop from laughing as he dusted off the dog hair that clung to his dark grey pants. "Sure, Hanabi. Whatever you say." Hanabi smiled and followed him as they both exited through the front door of his house. "Contact me when you have become Hokage." Hanabi ordered, her pale cheeks still tinted with a rosy hue. The canine ninja smirked and gave the strange girl a nod before walking off towards the main street of Konoha. 'What is with that girl? I think she must've lost her mind, but if that is so, then why am I humoring her?' A group of children almost running into Kiba pulled the man from his thoughts as he watched the children dart past him. The village was full of life this time of a day and he couldn't help but think about his fellow villagers as he continued to walk towards Naruto and Hinata's house. It was the hustle and bustle of a society which peace had granted. It seemed that the wars and conflict of the past were only a distant memory to the people who carried on about their day, fulfilling various tasks and duties. Even if what Hinabi had said was true about Naruto neglecting Hinata, maintaining such a state of peace must've been why. It obviously consumed all of his free time and Kiba could only wonder if he could do as good of a job as the blond haired Hokage if he was given the opportunity. Hinata's house seemed like a tranquil island amidst a sea of nonstop commotion. As he walked up to her door, Kiba realized that the area was so peaceful due to how deserted it was. There were fewer villagers and children in the vicinity which granted the home such a welcoming atmosphere devoid of unwanted outbursts. It seemed that being married to the most powerful man in the village came with unspoken benefits, Kiba noted as he knocked on the door. After all, who would willingly cause a disturbance in front of the Hokage's private residence? As soon as he finished knocking on the door, Kiba realized just how long it had been since he had last spoken with Hinata. Regardless of whether or not Hanabi was truthful, this was going to be one awkward meeting. The door slowly opened and the face of a familiar brunette greeted him. "Kiba!" Kiba stood there, momentarily shell shocked by her radiant smile and stunning beauty. Sure, he had seen her around the village, but never up close like this; time had treated her well and motherhood had only made the once shy young girl into a truly gorgeous woman. "What brings you here?" Hinata asked with a slight blush. Kiba wondered if he should just come out with it and tell Hinata about the true reason he was here. However, if what Hanabi had told him wasn't true, if it was some elaborate prank, he would be utterly humiliated. So, he thought better of it and answered, "I finally found a moment to stop by and say hello to one of my oldest friends." The lavender haired woman felt her body quiver. This was like something out of her secret fantasies! How many times had she told her sister Hinabi about her daydreams starting out like this? Far too many to count! "What a nice surprise!" Hinata smiled and reached forward, bringing her old friend into a tight embrace. “It's been so long.” "It's nice to see you again, Hinata." Kiba told her as he held her close. "It has been far too long." 'Was this really happening?' Kiba wondered as he enjoyed the warm embrace of his fellow ninja. 'This is nothing like the Hinata I remember. Maybe there's some truth to Hinabi's words.' "Yes, it's been too long." Hinata replied as she broke the hug. Once the two separated, Kiba was left standing there. He scratched the back of his head. "I know, I know. I've just been so busy tending to the pups and all." "Well, if you found a moment to come over here then why don't you come inside and have some tea?" The normally reserved woman wasted no time ushering her crush into her home. "Sure, that sounds nice." Kiba answered as he was all but dragged into the house by the hand. He felt her grin loosen, ultimately releasing him in front of a rather nice table just outside of the kitchen. “Make yourself comfortable while I get us some tea.” Kiba didn't need to be told twice. He took a seat and, with nothing better to do, he watched as his former teammate poured two cups of tea. His eyes traveled over her body, taking it in even more so than he had done at the door. Most women wouldn't have looked so good after having two kids, but her form was flawless and now curved in all the right places. Not only had motherhood given the woman hips and a nice ass, but she had not one ounce of fat on her from either of her pregnancies. With the tea ready, Hinata sat down across from Kiba. "I hope you're thirsty." "I am." Kiba replied as he took a sip of the tea. "I see that our peace with the other villages has treated you well." "It looks like it has treated you well too, Kiba." Hinata replied as her eyes fluttered at him. 'Is she flirting with me?' "Thanks, I try to stay busy and tending to my dogs has kept me fit." "It sure has." The soft spoken woman smiled. "You look a lot stronger than I remember." 'She's definitely flirting with me.' "I don't know about that. I haven't really done anything differently than usual. With our village at peace there has been no need for me to go out on missions or anything like that. I guess staying busy has its benefits." Kiba finished explaining and took another sip of his tea. "No missions here either. I mostly spend my time with my family so I probably am not as fit as I used to be." Hinata stated, her cheeks still rosy. “You say that, but I always see you running around the village with Boruto or Himawari and I can tell that tending to those two has kept you in very good shape." Kiba chuckled. "Thank you, Kiba." The subtle compliment made her lips turn slightly upwards as her face grew warmer. "That's the famous Hinata glow I remember." Kiba teased as Hinata's slightly crimson cheeks turned full blown red. It wasn't a secret that the purple haired woman had been quite the timid girl growing up. She was always quick to be embarrassed over virtually anything which made that alabaster skin of hers turn the loveliest shade of red. It was one of the reasons why Kiba had found her adorable as a young man. It seemed like every time he thought about asking her out, she would be staring at Naruto, which dashed his hope's. Still, seeing her rosy red skin burn brighter than a ripe tomato was still a turn on even now. 'I really need to know if Hinabi was telling the truth.' Kiba cleared his throat, "Hinata, I feel like I should tell you that this is more than just a social call." The lavender haired woman's heart fluttered. "Really?” "Yes, I was approached by your sister who told me that you have a crush on me. I thought the whole thing was silly, but-" "It's true!" Hinata blurted out, interrupting Kiba. "Wait." Kiba sat there, stunned. He could've sworn that Hinabi was messing with him, but Hinata had just confirmed part of her sister's story. "Are you serious?" "I am. I still have a crush on you, but it's more than a mere attraction; I absolutely love you." Hinata answered and quickly realized that she should explain herself. "I mean, I do love and care for Naruto. We have two beautiful children and I will always love him, but during the past few years he has grown distant. He's consumed by his work and I think that he doesn't care about me anymore." "I wasn't expecting all this." Kiba replied, feeling dumbstruck by Hinata's admission. "I know." Hinata looked into her half drank cup of tea. "I shouldn't have told you any of this and I should never have told my big mouthed sister." "Hinata, it's okay." Kiba smiled. "I love you too." "Really?!" The normally reserved woman exclaimed before covering her mouth. "Yes, I do. That's why I came here. To see if what Hanabi said was true." Kiba clarified, trying to soothe Hinata. "Where do we go from here?" Hinata asked aloud. it was less a question for Kiba to answer and more herself wondering out loud what was going to happen next. Would they kiss or would they simply part ways and forget that this odd little get together ever occurred? "Hanabi has a plan. It's a little strange, but it might be the answer to all of our prayers." Kiba explained, his eyes narrowing, “but if you want to be with me, I need to know what Naruto's weakness is." Hinata's posture immediately stiffened as she sat her cup of tea on the table. She had to think about how she was going to give Kiba the information without being overheard. "I can't say it out loud, but I can write it down and you can read it." The lavender haired ninja stated as she grabbed a piece of paper and wrote down the secret. "After you read this, I want you to burn it. There are far too many people in this world who would kill for this information." Kiba nodded and grabbed the paper Hinata handed him. Reading over the small note, he couldn't believe how simple it was to take down Naruto. "If it's really this easy to defeat him, you and I will be together tonight." Kiba assured his future wife. "Really?!" Hinata's face lit up. She could no longer hide her feelings for Kiba and bolted out of her chair. Kiba watched, slightly caught off guard by how overcome with emotion Hintata was as she made her way over to his side of the table and gave him a kiss. Kiba wanted to take her right there and then, tear off her clothes and lift her up onto the table, but he showed restraint and pulled away from Hinata. "Even though I really want you right now, I have to wait until Naruto is out of the way. It's the only honorable way to do this." Kiba explained as he sat up from his seat and walked towards the front door. If he was going to do this right he had to defeat Naruto first and then claim his prize. That way, with Naruto out of the way, he wouldn't feel guilty about being with Hinata. "When will you come back?" The lavender haired woman asked, her breath heavy, her eyes full of longing. "Go to your husband's office in two hours." — At The Office Of The Hokage — 'Why is Kiba here to see me?' Naruto pondered. The sound of the door opening snapped Naruto from his thoughts as his eyes flew up from the paperwork on his desk, zeroing in on the person entering his spacious office. "Long time no see." The broad shouldered dog trainer said with a smile. "Yeah, it's easily been a few years. What brings you up to my office?" Naruto asked, genuinely curious. "I'm here to challenge you for the title of Hokage." Kiba answered. Naruto was shocked to say the least, his normally carefree smile turned to a scowl as he stared at Kiba. "Really? You think you can defeat me?" Naruto replied, after clearing his throat. "Well, Hinabi and Hinata put me up to it. I honestly thought it was a silly idea, but why not hold a friendly little fight like we used to do when we were kids? If you lose the fight, I get to be Hokage for a day and you get a day off to hang out with your family and friends while I do all the paperwork. If you win, you get bragging rights that you beat me." Kiba explained, his body language still mellow and relatively placid. 'Hinata obviously misses me and put Kiba up to this.' Naruto realized, his heart warming as he thought of her. The blond's fierce gaze melted and became the familiar smirk of the young trickster that used to frolic about the village. "So, you think that you can beat me in a fight, huh?" "Yeah, why not?" Kiba replied nonchalantly. "All that paperwork has probably dulled your cat like reflexes, Uzumaki." "Yeah, you might be right, but if you're wrong and lose, I'll have you walking around the village holding a sign that says 'Naruto is still the best.' How does that sound?" Kiba couldn't help but laugh. 'Same old, Naruto. I'm going to feel bad about beating him and taking Hinata as my wife.' "Sounds like we have a deal." Kiba replied as he took off his fur coat. "Ready whenever you are." Naruto said as he sat up and walked around his desk. "Ready?" Kiba asked, taking a stance. "I'm ready, let's do this!" Naruto shouted, running at Kiba. (Ten seconds later) "What the hell happened!?" Naruto asked as he rubbed his head. It all happened so fast, one moment he was ready to fight, literally leaping into the fray and the next moment everything went black and he found himself laid out on the floor with a huge bump on his head. "Looks like I won." Kiba gloated as he took a seat at behind Naruto's desk. "Hey!" Naruto barked. "No fair! Hinata told you about my weakness!" A giggle echoed throughout the room as a familiar figure appeared from the door. Naruto froze, unsure what was going on as his sister in law walked into his office holding a pair of Jean shorts and a T-shirt with a dinosaur on it. "Hanabi..?" Naruto asked, his voice sounding confused by her sudden appearance. "You're right on time to pick up your brat, Mrs. Hyuuga." Kiba chuckled from the comfortable chair behind the Hokage's desk. "Brat?" Naruto spat, annoyed by the weird choice of words Kiba had called him. "My first act as the Eight Hokage is to demote Naruto Uzumaki to the level of a first year Academy student." Kiba declared. "What?!" Naruto shouted. "You can't do that!" "Since you're just starting at the Academy, you'll require an adult to supervise you and, as such, I assign Hanabi Hyuuga as your guardian and permanent babysitter." "You can't do that!" Naruto cried and turned to face the grinning Hanabi. "He can't do that!!" Hanabi could see by the look on his face that her poor little Naruto was distressed and upset. "It's okay, Naruto. Don't you worry about a thing. Let Hanabi take care of everything for you from now on." Naruto couldn't help but blink at Hanabi in confusion. ‘Why is she talking in the third person like a crazy person?’ Even though the whole situation was incredibly insane, the blond ninja couldn't help but blush as his sister in law spoke in such a babyish voice while addressing him. "Okay, fine! I lost the fight and I gave up my title for a day, but there's no way I'm going to allow myself to be treated like a baby by her!" Naruto pointed at Hinabi as he shouted at Kiba. "It's not polite to point, sweetie." Hinata cooed. Naruto spun around on the floor and found himself staring at the love of his life; his wife, Hinata. She loo
