I think so, Brian. The impression I get is that the majority are not "into it" and those who are, are pretty weird about it. There are exceptions, of course. They are also not good at identifying risks without a gadoman. :-D

2024-03-02 03:31:01 +0000 UTCYikes! Alright, so does this come down to the lack of proper education in school? Whatever the case, I find the data to be somewhat conspicuous. In other words, I don't think the news comes a much of a surprise to many Westerners. Maybe I'm wrong, or maybe it's just the Western bias, but I've always considered the issue of sexuality in Japan to be... how shall I say it... "quirky, and somewhat repressed, with unconventional outlets." Would that be a fair assessment?
