Hi all!
Just finished a new sketch that was actually inspired by a photo that John Howe (yes, THE John Howe who illustrated large parts of Lord of the Rings and Hobbit) took.
As of right now, I am not sure yet if I should give the wizard a dog as a companion in this piece. What is important to me in this piece is not to challenge myself in terms of the motive, but rather focus on having it be really dynamic within the wind, I want the viewer to feel as if the piece comes alive with the strong wind that is going on at coasts sometimes. In my opinion, it is so important to pick a topic I want to improve on with each piece in the making, and it will be to make it dynamic this time, as it was with architecture and more people in the last one. The wizard might be reading some symbols on this menhir, I kind of like that idea.
Have a nice week!
