New Artwork - "The Lazy Griffin Tavern"

Hi everyone! The Lazy Griffin is a tavern in one of the smaller cities near the Arnas Mountains, which are known for their wild nature and gemstone mines. As these mountains are vast and full of possible adventures as well as crossed by an important trade road, many adventurers and mercenaries find their way here. The Lazy Griffin is a not so well known place in the town where some of these people gather. Insiders know it for its exceptionally well baked regional Arnasbread as well as for the dashingly good-looking owner. If you want to relax after an eventful adventure in the mountains, this is the place to call home for a while.

This piece was really fun to draw, espeically with these thicker lines and not a line being completely straight. You'll also notice that there are 5 (5,5 :D) characters in this piece, I've probably never built in more characters into a piece, and I feel quite happy with them. It's also always a lot of fun to hide birds everywhere, as well as the cat.
All in all, this piece should feel like being in that city for the first time, but somehow it doesn't feel strange or intimidating, as life is still rather slow and things are alright in most parts of the city. This is one of these pieces again where I realize that it's just "sugar" - but frankly, I don't care at all. :D

It also gave me the confidence to draw more architecture as well as characters. That doesn't mean all my pieces will be in cities or villages from now on, far from it. But it's nice to know that it is an option, and that I don't have to shy away from it.
