New Sketch of a Journey through the Skies

Hi everyone! This one is something I've never done before - the height of it is a bit scary since it's so unusual, it's not yet clear to me what should have how many details, but I'll figure it out :) At the same time, the piece feels right at home for me, with that much space to "breathe", which is something that I'm usually searching for in my pieces anyways. At first there was a sort of skyship there, but while sketching, it felt just too modern and close up, which is why I changed it to a large seagull. The birds that are flying below were at first planned to be smaller birds that are flying close by, but then the idea came to me to make it an escort of some sort, with one of them carrying a lance with a banner. I would imagine that traveling by these means is something that is a really rare sight or occasion, as there are not many birds of this size in Argenta, which is why they're usually cared for by the emissaries of the Sun Empress or by powerful guilds.
