Great Villain: Starting by Humiliating the Son of the Heavenly Fate Chapter 346: Hatching the Dragon Egg, I Like You

Whoosh.

A spatial channel materialized.

Mo Hao's eyes ignited with excitement. Without a moment's hesitation, he charged directly into it.

Close on his heels, Jiang Chen entered the Immortal Martial Cave Heaven.

Of course, he didn't overlook the inhumans he'd rescued from the giant sinkhole. Once inside the Cave Heaven, he promptly settled them.

"Where is that Jiang Chen?" Mo Hao surveyed the surroundings but couldn't find him, a wave of relief washing over him.

"He's occupied," Shangguan Ning replied, swiftly opening another spatial channel without further ado. "The channel is ready; go ahead and be cautious."

"Alright." Driven by eagerness to distinguish himself and attain greatness, Mo Hao wasted no time in the Immortal Martial Cave Heaven. He immediately entered the next spatial channel.

In the blink of an eye, he found himself in the Western Ice Domain, located at the farthest western edge of the Immortal Martial Continent.

...

In the Western Ice Domain, more than a hundred thousand demonic beings had been indiscriminately teleported by the Myriad Demons Sky Piercing Mirror. By now, these beings had dispersed widely, wreaking havoc and killing the remaining humans in their path.

Luckily, the Western Ice Domain was an inhospitable environment with sparse human settlement.

Furthermore, Jiang Chen had relocated the vast majority of the population into the Immortal Martial Cave Heaven. As a result, the number of humans falling victim to the demonic beings was significantly minimized.

Mo Hao unfurled his divine sense, scanning the surroundings in a relentless search for any signs of the demon race.

"Where are these demonic beings? I, Mo Hao, am eager to show-off my skills!" he exclaimed, brimming with impatience and fervor.

Soon, he discovered a human city that had been completely decimated. Without wasting a moment, he flew towards it.

...

Back in the Immortal Martial Cave Heaven, Jiang Chen deactivated his Void Tribulation Soul. Stretching languidly, he broke into a relieved smile. "Finally, no more pretending to be a female cultivator. That was awkward."

"Hehe, Jiang Chen, you're just relieved we're not occupying your body anymore," Shangguan Ning teased, her voice chiming in. "Isn't that right, Elder Red Maple?"

"Enough," Nangong Wan coldly retorted, devoid of emotion.

"See, Jiang Chen? She's so fierce," Shangguan Ning immediately feigned a pitiful demeanor.

"Alright, let's stop the antics," Jiang Chen interjected, a tone of mild exasperation in his voice.

"Next, I plan to hatch this hybrid dragon egg—a fusion between the Void White Dragon and the Death Calamity True Dragon."

"The first step is the hatching, and the second is achieving perfect control, a crucial step. Do any of you have suggestions?" he queried in his sea of consciousness.

"That would necessitate a beast taming technique," Shangguan Ning offered, her tone both informative and a tad excited.

"In our Azure Hollow Heavenly Fox Clan, we specialize in illusions and enchantments, so naturally, we have some expertise in beast taming as well."

"I present to you the 'Azure Hollow Spirit Taming Art.' It's ideal for controlling newly-hatched spirit beasts. It neither has side effects nor manipulates; instead, it fosters genuine affection."

"This art is a closely-guarded secret within our Azure Hollow Heavenly Fox Clan, which speaks to its efficacy."

"Additionally, Jiang Chen, you already possess the bloodline of the Death Calamity True Dragon. The moment this dragon egg hatches, it will undeniably recognize you as its parent." After imparting this information, she transmitted the Azure Hollow Spirit Taming Art to Jiang Chen.

"Excellent! I'll employ the Azure Hollow Spirit Taming Art," Jiang Chen affirmed with a nod, then turned his attention to Wan'er. "Do you have any additional suggestions?"

"I do have a secret art called the 'Heart Mirror Imprint Art'. It facilitates unhindered communication between you and the spirit beast. Although it might not be as seamless as our current link with you, it's far more advanced than the typical master-servant communication." As Nangong Wan elaborated, she directly transferred the Heart Mirror Imprint Art into Jiang Chen's Sea of Consciousness.

"Great!" Jiang Chen nodded, clearly satisfied. "With these two secret arts and my Death Calamity True Dragon bloodline, the True Dragon that emerges will undoubtedly be perfectly communicative and controllable!"

"I'll need to conserve my qi and blood to hatch the dragon egg. Therefore, the task of casting these secret arts will fall upon you two." With that, he retrieved the mysterious dragon egg from his spatial ring and held it gently in his arms.

'Void Tribulation Soul!' With a mere thought from Jiang Chen, his soul instantaneously fused with those of Nangong Wan and Shangguan Ning.

He relinquished partial control of his body to the two women, while another segment of his consciousness engaged the Wordless Heavenly Jade, drawing out an immense amount of qi and blood energy!

Starting from Sun Ji and Steward Ma, Jiang Chen had been hoarding all the qi and blood energy he had collected, never depleting any.

The sheer amount of qi and blood energy he had accumulated was clearly substantial.

At that moment, under Jiang Chen's guidance, a torrent of qi and blood energy coursed through his hands, funneling into the mysterious dragon egg.

Hum, hum!

After soaking up the substantial qi and blood energy, the dragon egg started to quiver and emit a soft radiance.

Waves of potent life force radiated from the dragon egg, both awe-inspiring and overwhelming.

"What a robust little one!" Jiang Chen couldn't help but smile as he persisted in channeling qi and blood energy into the dragon egg.

Soon enough, the dragon egg had absorbed all the available qi and blood energy.

The life pulsations within the egg had intensified dramatically, to the point where even the subtle vibrations of its heartbeat could unnerve a Dao Palace realm powerhouse.

Additionally, an overwhelmingly fearsome dragon aura emanated from the dragon egg. Had Jiang Chen not purposefully concealed it, likely everyone in the Immortal Martial Cave Heaven would have been alarmed.

"Now's the time!" Nangong Wan and Shangguan Ning whispered in unison, swiftly activating their respective secret arts.

Instantaneously, Jiang Chen formed distinct hand-seals with both hands. His internal Yuan Power autonomously coursed through two separate meridian routes.

In an instant, faint cyan and orange lights emanated from Jiang Chen's right and left hands, respectively.

Placing his hands upon the dragon egg, the two hues of faint light swiftly melded into it.

Abruptly, fluctuations of consciousness radiated from within the dragon egg!

"It's born!" Nangong Wan exclaimed, her voice tinged with awe and excitement. "Jiang Chen, congratulations!"

"Wow, a mount that will reach the Void Tribulation realm upon maturity—truly enviable," Shangguan Ning chimed in, her tone one of genuine admiration.

The cheerful laughter of the two reverberated within Jiang Chen's sea of consciousness.

Suddenly, the sound of cracking filled the air. Upon closer inspection, Jiang Chen noticed that a network of cracks was beginning to spread from the top of the dragon egg, gradually widening.

"I'm born! I'm in the boundless and vast cosmos now!" Accompanied by a youthful, almost babyish female voice, a charming white dragon head poked out through the cracks. Its two large eyes sparkled with a curious light.

True Dragons come with soul inheritance!

They don't inherit specific memories, but the true dragon secret arts and a foundational understanding of the world are passed down.

Hence, this little dragon was self-aware from the moment of its birth and could communicate with other beings through divine sense.

"It's a female dragon," Shangguan Ning cooed, her voice tinged with delight. "Wow, she's so cute!"

"Jiang Chen, you better treat her well," Nangong Wan warned, her tone mixing excitement and seriousness.

Both were visibly thrilled.

"Don't worry, I will certainly treat her well," Jiang Chen assured with a slight smile, his eyes still fixed on the newly-hatched little dragon.

At that moment, the little dragon's large eyes met his, their gazes locking.

"You... you are my...?" The little dragon tilted her head, her eyes filled with curiosity. She had sensed Jiang Chen's presence even before hatching and felt a natural fondness for him.

Yet, she was somewhat unclear about the nature of their relationship.

"I am your kin," Jiang Chen responded, his smile softening.

"Here, we need to depend on each other for survival. Go ahead, call me 'Big Brother'." He chose not to assume a parental role with the little creature for two reasons. First, he didn't want to unexpectedly assume the title of 'father', and second, given the little dragon's inherent intelligence, she would inevitably discover any deceit later on.

"Ao, Big Brother!" The little dragon tilted her adorable head, her large eyes twinkling as she chirped, "I like you!"
