March Update

Hey there Patrons. Hope everyone has been well. Sorry that we didn't have an update last month, trying to get everything out has been pretty hectic over here. I'm sure you noticed that our January Smash video came out in February, so I'm working hard to try and catch up. 

So what is planned for March? Well my highest priority is to get the next part of the Street Fighter Retrospective out. I talked about this on Twitter, but the first part of the video is talking about what was "The Dark Age of Fighting Games." Now to clarify, this doesn't mean saying "Fighting games were bad without Street Fighter." A lot of people seemed to assume that's what the discussion would be so I wanted to clarify, no that's not what I'd be talking about. Instead I'd be talking about what happened to fighting games as the arcade scene fell. And most people said I should just make that its own video, so I was going to do that. But after thinking about it I've decided I shouldn't delay the SF video any longer, even if it would be for a video that compliments it. 

So the next Street Fighter video is going to start with a pretty long intro sequence, and if people want I might end up taking that part out and making it its own video later. But for now we're keeping it all as one video. Now as for when this video will come out, I'm hoping it'll be this month but for the first time in about four years I'm going to be taking a vacation this month. I'll be at PAX East in two weeks, so hopefully I can get the video done before then. Point is, this is going to be a pretty crazy month once again. But you'll still get previews of the upcoming video, you'll still get your commentary video, so I'll make sure you all still get your rewards.
