Welcome Patrons to the final week of the first round of the bracket to decide what games we'll look at in our new Spotlight show. Today is a fan favorite vs a hidden gem. Let's see who wins.

Guilty Gear Xrd Rev - So I love Guilty Gear, and I love Guilty Gear Strive. But ever since that game came out all I've heard people say is how much better Xrd Rev is. But Rev is one of the few Guilty Gears I didn't put much time into because I played Xrd Sign and didn't move on past that to the sequel. So now's my chance to dive deep into Rev and see if it really is great or if it's just nostalgia.

Rage of the Dragons - You might remember this game from part 2 of our KOF retrospective, this was an unofficial Double Dragon fighting game that couldn't get the license for the characters, so they just made their own original thing that actually turned out to be shockingly good with unique tag mechanics and great sprite work. It's finally getting a rerelease later this year but before that happens we can take a look and see if it still stacks up.
