Patreon Freeze 🥶 - All You Need To Know!

I’ve opened this page in August 2022 after clearing with Patreon’s support that my kind of content is acceptable here. In return they told me the obvious - to just create my page as Adult/18+.

Sadly, it seems like 9 months later they had a change of heart and since then I got a lot of messages and flags from their side, with the constant threat to suspend the page.

I kept asking for answers and reasons for what exactly here isn’t suitable even for adults, and eventually they clang upon the consent part. Apparently - shrunken slavery is the same as an actual rape in Patreon eyes.

I can’t even emphasize in words how much I disagree with this ridiculous and ignorant observation, of which I find very insulting personally.

That said, I will still do my best to edit or delete problematic stories in order to prevent the page from being suspended - but I obviously can’t continue like that.

In their own way they are pushing me off the platform. I guess some day when this platform will suffer the same fate as Tumblr, Patreon’s management will realize what a mistake it was to harass and kick out creators, but it will be too late.

I was mad at first, but today I understand that it’s actually for the best, taking me out of my comfort zone to make something better for me and you.

So I’m glad to announce that on July’s 5th I’m going to freeze billing on this page, and I want to explain what exactly it means:

• Starting July’s 5th, your monthly payment will not be charged anymore.
• If you are a patron on the day of the freeze - you will stay a patron forever, for free, unless you actively decide to stop being a patron.
• Existing content will stay available but I guess portions of it will be deleted in time, I will try to minimize that as much as possible.

I’m going to keep using this page for major updates & announcements.

What’s next?

Since Patreon's first engagement, I've been working day and night on making my website, Giantess-Interactive, a place to host stories, with categories, tags, and overall a tailor made solution for my kind of content.

I think as I’m writing it, the website is already a far better place to read my stories, for various reasons that I’ll not elaborate on here.

Currently the stories there are available for all signed up members, but at some point after the freeze a subscriptions model identical to Patreon will be available there, and new content will be published there just like it is now here.

Stay a patron

I honestly recommend that you stay / become a patron before the freeze, and here is why:

• Once subscriptions start on giantess-interactive, all active patrons will get a full month for free of what their tier was at the day of the freeze.
• You will stay a patron forever, with its perks, availability to Patreon exclusives, all the content here, Discord’s role, and lifetime support funds that can be used to get access for future projects / games on the website.

It’s also worth mentioning that the subscriptions won’t start immediately after the freeze. I'm taking a break and I hope you understand me, as much as I’m excited towards this change - the last months were exhausting.

Making sure there’s new content every day + coding and working on the website + working on Shrunken At Home DLC + desperately trying to save my content and salvage it to DeviantArt / giantess-interactive while communicating with Patreon was too much… 😪

I don’t think this break will last long, but I think moving between platforms might be a good chance to take a break and finally play Legend Of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (if you’re also playing - check the second pic 🤭)
