Made It (Facebook)

After years of hard work, you finally passed all the interviews, you got the phone call from Google’s recruiter with the most amazing offer you heard in your life, you immediately accepted.

Thrilled, you boarded the first plane to your hometown, visiting your parents, it was the fourth pandemic wave of the shrinking virus but you were too excited and had to share the news with them.

You spent your entire life on studying, getting a degree, being poor, and the struggle is finally over - you made it.

The smile couldn’t get off your face, you took a cab to your parents home and just before going inside you noticed your teenager neighbour, last time you saw her she was a kid, you used to babysit her when you were a teenager yourself, she actually grew up to be a very good looking girl.

”Hi! Annie how are you? You grew so big!” You said in excited tone, smiling ear to ear.

”Mmm hi”, she said in indifferent tone, “why are you so excited lol”.

”Oh, I got accepted to Google, software engineer, had to make a second degree in Harvard for the job”, you proudly explained.

”Ah, cool, congratulations I guess”, she said and shrugged.

Then you felt some kind of a weird headache, and you were dizzy, you tried to hold something but then you had a strange feeling of falling down, everything around you got bigger.

Annie gasped in shock, “you are shrinking! Oh god you got the shrinking virus!”

You couldn’t reply, and in just a few minutes you were standing in front of Annie’s colossal figure, you stared at her shoes and gulped, she was just huge and you were like a bug on the pavement, you looked up and she was looking down at you with a smile.

She bent down and started untying her shoes.

”A-Annie? Can you help me please?” You stuttered.

”Lol, you spent your entire life learning and all that, can’t you figure out what I’m about to do?”

”ah.. oh god, Annie, I know you since you are a kid, you can’t be serious, please wait”, you begged in panic.

”Sorry, I just can’t help myself, never crushed an engineer before”, she said and giggled, raising her foot up.

You started shaking in fear, tears filled your eyes as her foot slowly descended on top of you, it pushed you into the pavement, you squirmed helplessly trying to release yourself from the increasing pressure until *CRACK*

You had no idea Annie was a very active member in a small exclusive secret Facebook group of high school girls enjoying torturing and squishing tiny men.
