New Year's Update
Added 2019-01-03 05:01:31 +0000 UTCI know I'm a little late with this, but happy new year everyone. I've had some family emergencies pull me away for the last couple days, which coincided with an episode of depression, so I can sincerely say I hope you all are doing better than I am.
While I was exhausted and depressed and dreading the future, I tweeted out that I was thinking about tearing the poll down and just making this a tip jar for early reading, but I'm in a little better headspace now, and on reflection, that's not something I'm ready to do just yet. My thinking before was the poll didn't really matter since I had so few options that I ended up writing most of them anyway. I was also trying to put out one finished story a week, which has gotten stressful because my stories have been creeping longer and I tend to write in less consistent bursts.
But I want to try to fix things some before I start tearing stuff down. Within the next week, I'm going to move the poll suggestion down to $5 in the hopes of adding more options to it. I'll probably add some kind of flash story reward at $10 to replace that.
I'm probably going to adjust my commission discounts a little too, if only to compensate for the new tier.
If you folks have any feedback or suggestions for reward tiers or something, feel free to let me know.
