Taking Requests: D&D characters*

This is a part 2 of the dnd characters but there’s an astrick* The video is “Making Fantasy Races based on The Wizard of Oz” please comment below a D&d character description of everything EXCEPT their race. This can be a character you’ve played before or you can just make one up for this video!

Thanks!! I hope so too though I'm in another campaign and DMing one so I'm still getting my fix

Poor forever DM's. Just wanting our little meow meows to not be destroyed by party chaos.

Chris! This is the perfect character just what I needed for this video!! So sorry that the campaign seems dead, I hope you are all able to schedule a new session soon.

Thanks! I love the details about them being a spice merchant and the part about the pirates. I think that’ll be very helpful when doing the designs for this particular video. Love that they’re an NPC! As a forever dm I love my npc babies

Love a religious archer! (Is someone who uses a crossbow an archer?? 🧐🧐) super cool character!

Love the sleepy backstory! Very intense, this seems like a good solution for players who get bored playing when class and want to try a bunch out! I may steal something like this for some of my home games, thank you so much for suggesting this✨🤍

Recently I played a character named Kalagos, a paladin of the common folk (homebrew communist paladin subclass) He spends most of his time in cities, in the quickly industrializing world going after this world's version of pinkertons and robber barons. Though he did take a detour for a bit to join up with an adventuring party to go into an ancient destroyed dwarven city. They had unearthed a portal to an eldritch plane, which activated and spewed out a few hundred horrors. So far we've crafted a hammer called "The heart of the mountian" That should be able to beat back the beast and close the portal but a bunch of scheduling issues are causing us to continually post-pone the final session to see if that'll actually happen :( RIP. Ain't that just D&D

How about a recurring NPC of mine that I love? Tulsi (they/he) is a spice merchant who loves to travel to remote and strange areas to see if there are untapped markets in those hidden corners. They're a polyglot and more of a lover than a fighter. They once got their ship raided and robbed by pirates (more thieves than murderers, so the crew were fine) but they fell in love with the raw charisma of the Kenku pirate rogue on board (who barely noticed them lol). Tusli is so lovestruck that they purposefully sail out a couple of times in smaller ships (with well-paid, informed crew) just to try and get raided again. But now they have to go out and rebuild some of their fortune before they can keep doing this, so the party often finds them in strange locations, selling basic wares and cooking ingredients. Looks-wise, I mostly imagine them to have a classic Mohanlal (he's an actor) type moustache, with a slight curl at the end, and with a little doughy body type. Otherwise, I don't have much else in mind for their design. I would love to make Tulsi a more spicy races, like the ones outside of the Fellowship Of The Ring ones. But if you like them, you can design them how you like! Tulsi also has a sibling named Basil (which is a joke because Tulsi means holy basil - like the plant, not a basil that is holy). Don't know if that's relevant, but I find it amusing.

How about my old character Avina, an inquisitor of Sarenrae (the Pathfinder god of the sun, very big on redemption and second chances)? She had a thing for fire based miracles and sniping monsters with a finely tuned crossbow. Her wardrobe was heavily inspired by the witch hunters from Warhammer Fantasy, even if she was far more pleasant to hang around.

I have a character I played called Mavros. He existed in an eldritch horror sort of world where people were scared of trusting their neighbors or going out of their cities because of the dangers of the world. Mavros tho was attempting to be a help spot of sunshine in this world by trying to put more good in the world... However, he had one issue... if he ever slept he had to roll a wisdom save, and if he failed he was possessed by a random spirit that was attached to him for a random amount of time and would change classes from cleric to sorcerer. These spirits could vary. Some examples are; tricksters that want to scare or pull pranks, a flirty southern belle, gruff and bloodlust filled soldier who won't leave a battle field, and more malevolent ones that wanted to assert control permanently over Mavros' body. Mind you keep this in mind, this was a secret between the dm and me so the rest of the party was confused at Mavros's odd-ness or suddenly casting spells a cleric shouldn't have access to. Because of his... condition... he would try to meditate instead of sleeping causing him to have heavy eye bags and a scosh of insomnia. But thru his tiredness he quested on to help people no matter what. One dark day he was fully possessed but his friends managed to reverse the damage and prevent him from being possessed ever again.
