Detransitioning (original song with the name)

Old post (2018), but new update with it. This was the original track called 'detransitioning' that was meant to be the opener for The Origin of My Depression. I often produce the entire record in one or two ableton projects so all the songs seamlessly go from one to the next and to normalise the mastering, so this was originally the first the In The Origin main project file. It's mostly my baritone guitar with some sampled overdubs.

One feature that ties it to The Origin is the gamelan samples. I think I rejected it as I felt I could do a stronger opener that was more consistent with the other tracks instrumentally, but I think it holds up on its for it's own. I was very inspired by A Silver Mount Zion's "He Has Left Us Alone..." record, but I decided for less guitar in the record instead.
