The packets of Japan stuff & the books.

Hey guys, just letting you know that we will be choosing the two names at random and sending out the small packets of Japan stuff and the "How to do stuff in Japan" books in the first week of each month,  starting in the first week of July. We will release a video announcing the winners and showing what is in July's packs.

Thanks again for all your support!

Hadn't thought about it.. but sounds fair to me! Go for it! (Takayama is a good call too!)

@Joseph: Might I recommend Takayama? It has a beautiful old town center, quite near to it are the historic villages of Shrikawa-go and others (bus leaving to these old towns from Takayama) and the train journey to Takayama is stunning. He has made a video about the historic villages already. Just be warned that during its spring festival, the amount of people visiting is mental

"quickly approaching my sixties" It is scary how fast the years fly, isn't it, Tony!! Where we live is not worth the train ride, but pretty much anywhere you go outside the cities will give you the genuine experience. I recommend cruising around for a while until you feel a place the suits you. Mountains/ Ocean? North? South? Big difference between Okinawa weather and Hokkaido, of course. Enjoy the searching!

Sorry to talk here but this is what your channel is all about. I love your videos on living in Japan. I was watching number 103 about the difference between Tokyo and the rest of Japan. I totally agree with the difference in the two and the experiences you can have in different places. I am coming to Japan next year to try and find what I call, the real Japan. I assume, much like your city. I am learning Japanese so I can talk to people who can't speak English. And I am so glad to have found you so I can really know what to expect. I am quickly approaching my sixties and I am looking for a place to maybe live that will give me the quiet, peaceful and respectable place that I want. Old Japan did that and I am going there to see if that style of living still exists. Your videos seem to indicate that it does if you go to the right place. I don't know if you can message me privately but I would like to know where you live so maybe I could check it out. Thank you for the videos and I hope you can make lots of money on them! Joseph

Awesome! This raffle adds a little fun to the whole thing. BTW, your book is fantastic. I was already quite well acquainted with the customs of Japan by just watching your videos, but it's all the little stuff that you forget that can be quite a big deal!(like using the hand wash towel on your face.. :P)
