Oh man, how has it been a whole week since last week? + Salon 64 Details
Added 2022-06-28 16:23:41 +0000 UTCI have been reading the D’Ancey LaGuarde Literary Tribute Competition submissions (I said I’d give out the prize at the end of this month!) and they are so funny. So many of them are truly hilarious and well written and even the ones that are a bit rough around the edges have some superb lines. I really don’t know how I’ll decide.
What I have decided is that I’ll definitely edit, add to and publish some of the original synopses and a selection of these submitted chapters in a book of some sort. So I’ll have to ask for permission to use the chapters people have submitted (with appropriate attribution and a slice of royalties if I end up making any money from it). Anyway! I can’t wait for you to see some of them and hear some choice extracts them read out (by me) on the gargle. Tossing up whether to pre-record a few special D’Ancey eps and throw them up during edinburgh to save me some juice during that stressful month.
Salon Details
Salon tomorrow will be immediately after my 2pm Gargle Recording, which is to say 3pm while the babysitter is still present. Sorry Aus time is midnight, which might not be doable on a school night. Next week more Aus friendly! I’ll send through the link tomorrow morning for the relevant levels.

I vote pre-record. You can always not use them, and it'll be less stress to know you have them in hand for when you realise Edinburgh's going to be more catch-uppy than you had expected. And I really want to hear them!
